Four Republican opponents lead Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D) in potential general election matchups, according to a new Rasmussen survey. On top of trailing each Republican by at least 8 points and never reaching even 40% support, 55% say they hold an unfavorable opinion of the second-term senator.

Sounds like she’s about to decide she needs to spend more time with her family.
Highest she gets against any of the named opponents is 39%. She’s toast.
Smash Socialism!
Obama’s dust ends up in Blanche’s mouth.
Obama will take care of her after her term is over......but what if he doesn’t? It is not like she could do anything.

BTTT! (the useful idiots will be sad :))
Good riddance. Three cheers for the smart people of Arkansas.
Is it November yet? I can’t wait to send her packing!!!

"Well you are, Blanche, you are!"
And I AM PROUD of the good people in Arkansas who are going to hand you your walkin papers come November.

Will BillyJeff go down to campaign for her?
Blanche Lincoln is definitely a target and her seat is one of the best pick-up opportunities for the GOP in 2010. The other “best” targets would be Harry Reid, Arlen Specter, Michael Bennet, and the three open seats in Delaware, North Dakota, and Illinois. On the down side, Republicans are defending open seats in New Hampshire, Ohio, Missouri, and Florida. All four races are shaping up to be heavy-weight battles. Connecticut goes from being a pick-up opportunity to a likely Democrat win if Blumenthal enters the race. I can live with that since Dodd is gone and Leiberman might be able to win one more term since he won’t have to run against Blumenthal.
Same as in our district. We have a large farm voting group that has been Democrat for generations but are really conservative.
We are going door to door and telling/reminding these good folks what damage our rep has done. Perhaps you could organize your district and get out into the rural areas. It is going to take all of us, working every district, to take back the House.
“Connecticut goes from being a pick-up opportunity to a likely Democrat win if Blumenthal enters the race”
I disagree. I think Simmons would be a very tough opponent for Blumenthal, and to a somewhat lesser extent McMahon and Schiff would give him a run for his money. Here are my reasons for saying this:
1) Blumenthal has the charisma of cold dishwater, he’s one of the most boring speakers I’ve ever heard.
2) Blumenthatl has been AG since 1990, and his relationships and support for key Dems such as Dodd and Obama (there are others) and their agendas will be greatly scrutinized and discussed:
“Connecticut Republicans had pressured Blumenthal to bring suit, noting Countrywide’s ties to U.S. Senator Chris Dodd.[34] Blumenthal has defended the Senator, stating that “there’s no evidence of wrongdoing on [Mr. Dodd’s] part any more than victims who were misled or deceived by Countrywide,” although his office has never investigated the Countrywide deals.”
3) Rob Simmons is widely known and respected, and he will have the full support of the RSCC, RNC and the Tea Party movement.
Didn’t care for my paraphrase of some words from Willie Nelson’s ballad of “Pancho and Lefty”? That’s alright.
