How in the world does McNasty stay in office?

Furthermore, why?

McKeating needs to take his cue from Dorgan and Dodd.

A Faustian choice, if there ever was one:

He can either support amnesty, which he philosophically believes in, knowing that the addition of these folks to Obamacare will complete the national bankruptcy.

~or~

He can stick to his conservative fiscal guns, turning his back on the amigos, of whom he’s been a long time supporter.

Life sucks. Then you die.

Illegals need to be bodily thrown out of our country and shot if they try to return.

That story has all kinds of interesting little scraps in it. For instance:

Elias Bermudez, founder and chief executive of the Phoenix-based advocacy group Immigrants Without Borders and a Republican, said Hayworth and Simcox likely will hurt the GOP in the long run.

"It is unfortunate that some people are trying to make John McCain look bad for supporting immigration reform, but I think they are totally mistaken if they want to use that against Senator McCain because the fastest growing voting bloc in the United States is the Hispanics," he said.

If Elias Bermudez is a Republican, I will eat my sombero. All of the "Whatever without Borders" groups are tied to the US Socialist party and the Workers World groups. They use Alinksy organizational techniques. The reporter who wrote this article is either a dim bulb, or is working to forward the agenda of Elias Bermudez.

For an example of what this is all about, see http://www.socialism.com/fsarticles/vol27no3/immigrant_justice.html

RE :”McCain has said he won’t support the 2010 legislation if it doesn’t include the guest-worker plan, a cornerstone of previous bipartisan compromises. Such a program would import foreign workers as needed during economic boom times to meet the temporary labor demands of the U.S. business community.

Go back to late 2006- early 2007 during the two big congressional battles on this and the big argument being posed by liberals and RINO’s was that these workers are required to support our GROWING economy. Remember the unraveling of the great Bush economy started September 2007 a few months later.

My idea of a guest worker program is the employer owns the guest worker, pays for his health care, for any assistance for kids(we currently pay for it now) . And if he loses his job, he and his kids (who may be US citizens under current law) are deported. Will never happen.

I think we should encourage McCain to run for president again. “C’mon John, just a little more to the center ought to do it”

And while you're at it, John, be sure to pick Lieberman as your running mate.

Well duh! Maybe they are the fastest block because they get a free pass into the country.

The old ways will not work. How long will American citizens sit back and watch all the jobs go to illegals? When will it be brought out how much crime they bring up from Mexico and beyond? Those who hire illegals should be not fined but arrested and sentenced to long terms in prison. Illegals should not be shipped home but serve 10 to 20 in slave camps digging canals and building levees—first project an 8th wonder of the world—a twenty feet tall wall from Texas to California.

Perhaps we should all read, copy and send Mexico’s Immigration Law to McNasty, Graham et al. Why won’t the U.S. even consider this?

Read about it here...

“It was McCain, partnering with Sen. Jon Kyl and the late liberal icon Ted Kennedy, who crafted the amnesty scheme that enraged American citizens to the point of shutting down the congressional switchboard, jamming fax machines and filling email boxes with their ire. We wrote at the time that although that bill was ultimately ditched, we should not be lulled into complacency. Prepare for round two. It’s coming.”

http://seeingredaz.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/%E2%80%9Ccomprehensive-immigration-reform%E2%80%9D-twins-gearing-up-for-round-two/

We shouldn’t forget that Arizona has two senators who worked hard for amnesty in 2007. I’ve heard Kyl called the greatest conservative in the senate, but since I’ve only noticed him for a few years, and during the 2006 and 2007 amnesty debates, to me he’s the most shameless turncoat in the senate.

He was big part of the anti-amnesty fight during 2006, then he on reelection in November of 2006, running on a anti-amnesty platform. But in 2007, he became a big part of the pro-amnesty push in the senate.

McCain’s not the only pro-amnesty senator from Arizona.
