Scandal-Plagued Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut retires at the lowest point in an overly long, 35-year, political career. The son of a career politician (his father occupied one of Connecticut's senate seats for 12 years), Dodd has seen his already overly long, Senate career deteriorate among many scandal-plagued issues in the last few years, thus leading to some of the worst poll numbers of his career and a near-impossible matchup against his potential, Republican challenger for his seat. Though Democrats gave Dodd a big role as one of the primary advocates of the ill-fated healthcare "reform" pushed by Obamahow they seriously thought that would rehabilitate his damaged image is beyond me, considering Obamacare is very unpopular with the American peopleit nonetheless failed to turn around his sagging fortunes.

correct.
if the GOP does not start mentioning the Dems tactic then we might as well kiss that seat good bye.
nail on head.
the only way to stop the rats getting the seat is to tie the new Dem with Dodds. Mention how they will now say he is not Dodd and the things did not happen on his watch.
Lets move forward and not look back bla bla.
If the GOP doesn’t start saying any of this now then we might as just well give in altogether. .
So far only Patterson has refused to go along with the tactic and he stood up to the whitehouse the other rats are going to be thrown under the bus and either they don’t care or they just don’t see it.
If the voters don’t see what ios gong on then they will get what they deserve and of course you’re right the media will play this as they have been playing for the white house and obama for some time
Dodd will be a multi millionaire inside of one year.
If there were justice he’d be placed in prison so he couldn’t do more damage to the nation than he already has.
heh, heh..how sweet it issssssssss....
