Governor Bill Ritter and US attorney nominee Stephanie Villafuerte had an affair as early as 2006, confirming reports circulating among political "in-the-know" for years...
The Senate Judiciary Committee will review Villafuerte's nomination for US attorney soon. Senator Max Baucus created controversy by nominating his mistress for a US attorney position, making the Villafuerte's relationship with the Governor relevant.
Greg Kolomitz, Governor Ritter's disgraced former campaign manager, first made the allegations in 2006, when he traded insults with Jim Carpenter, Ritter's chief of staff at the time.
Now more staff are admitting there was an affair. If there was an affair, a legitimate legal issue arises. Did Governor Ritter favor Stephanie Villafuerte with a nomination for US attorney because she was or had been his mistress?
The Senate Judiciary should ask Villafuerte, did you have an affair with Governor Bill Ritter?
In light of Senator Max Baucus's nomination of his mistress for a US attorney position, the Villafuerte accusations are relevant. Baucus was separated (or so he says) at the time he nominated his mistress. Both Villafuerte and Ritter are married.

Faced with persistent questions from a leading Republican senator, Stephanie Villafuerte on Monday withdrew her name from consideration to become Colorado’s next U.S. attorney.
Stephanie Villafuerte was withdrawing because of “political attacks” ...
The move comes two days after Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, asked that consideration of her nomination be delayed because her record is “incomplete.”

Montana Senator Max Baucus created the earlier controversy by nominating his mistress for a US attorney position, making the Villafuerte’s relationship with the Colorado Governor Ritter complicated.
Stephanie Villafuerte was Ritter’s employee *with benefits* since at least 2006.
Ritter also was nominating his mistress for a US attorney position ?

She has been a corrupt politician in Colorado: Alledged affair with corrupt Colorado Governor Bill Ritter (the critter). Ritter (when Colorado Attorney General) was letting off illegal immigrant crimminals with "agricultural trespass" misdemeanor charges even when the arrest was for crimes as bad, or worse than heroin smuggling. They went after ICE Agent Cory Voorhis for leaking info that a Ritter illegal alien heroin smuggler releasee raped a young girl in California after release and no deportation. This happened in the Colorado governor's race where Ritter was claiming he was tough on crime. Charges were filed against Voorhis, but jury did not buy it. Destroyed Voorhis career and also financially. Aledged mistress was also claimed to be accessing crimminal databases for political purposes, except for the critter democRAT side. Alledged mistress put up by the Zer0 administration for a federal attorney position, but too much crap to wash off.

Thank YOU - Colorado was missing out of this article.
Not everyone is familiar with the particulars of every state’s internal politics.
PLEASE! Put the state’s name of these reprehensible politicians somewhere near the top of the article so the rest of us know who the Hell they are and where they are from in this great nation of ours.
