Former KSFO conservative talk radio co-host, provacateur and activist Melanie Morgan resigned from her nationally-syndicated radio show Monday for health reasons.
We connected with Morgan Monday. She says "I'm fine," but wanted to return to the Bay Area from Washington, D.C. to be near family and friends as she continues to explore what she calls her "health challenge."
In a note to listeners Monday, Morgan said, "Yes, it's true. I am leaving the radio. For a while."
"I have resigned from America's Morning News with a tremendous amount of sadness," Morgan writes.
"I have some health issues that I need to attend to and that's the reason why I am leaving Washington, D.C. and returning to California where my family and friends can help me get through this challenging time.
"But I expect to lace up my skates and get goin' again soon!"

California??? Will she dig for roots, carry water buckets uphill or wait for the UN food trucks? /jk

There is nothing wrong with California except a majority of people that vote themselves broke. The land itself is beautiful with great weather. Liberalism is the cancer.

Where she lives has been a hotbed of controversy over health issues, cancer clusters, etc. for many women. Sounds like she may be just one more stat if that is the case.
Hang in there, Melanie! Take care of yourself and family first.
There’ll be loads of liberal butts left to kick on down the road.

I wondered what was up yesterday when the show changed their intro announcement to drop Morgan's name, and McCaslin never said anything like "Melanie Morgan is still on vacation."
I guess she's coming back to the Bay Area to recuperate.

I never heard of her, but based off that fact that she isn’t ugly as sin, it’s safe to assume that she’s a conservative.
Right?

Mel was the one bright spot of BA radio on my morning commute when I lived there.

She definitely helped getting the Recall ball in play, fortunately we’re a No Fault NO Blame State here .. lots of good folks definitely got bit by ‘Unintended Consequences’ when the Austrian Trojan Horse jumped in the race and will be paying for that mistake for decades.
FoR a few brief moments, the state had a chance at changing directions, instead it chose an aging action movie figure with a Hugh Q factor that had waltzed in with more Kennedys that ya can shake a stick at tickling his ears with liberal agenda items.
The rest is history.

Prayers and best wishes for Ms. Morgan. She has been one dynamo for the conservative movement.
