Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) took a shot at Dick Cheney last night, saying the former Vice President wasn't in any position to be criticizing President Obama.
"Well, I think he had his eight years and he's caused a lot of trouble for our country and he perpetuated a war in Iraq that was unnecessary and wrong-headed," Paul said of Cheney on CNN's Larry King Live. "So I would say that it would be best he not be so critical right now."

I think by this time we can all agree RP has blown whatever chance he had. I love the guys monetary conservatism - but on foreign policy and this, I'm left shaking my head.
The war was justified in my opinion and succeeded in bring the fight to their doorstep instead of ours.....proven by the fact we had not one attack after 9/11.
Now we may be at odds among ourselves at what our continued presence looks like - but I think we are all in agreement that a presence is required, lest the place go completely in the crapper and over run with jihadi's
Thoughts?

Maybe to show there are no hard feelings, Cheney could invite Paul to go hunting with him.

The GOP unpopularity was caused by wimpiness and ineffectiveness. Had they had balls to push conservatism they would have won big. Cheney is right, and Ron Paul is one major idiot. He is the one that needs to STFU.

Ron Pauls right. Neocon RINOs like Cheney need to shut up first. Their unpopularity is what killed the GOP in 06 and 08. If Cheney and his goons dont shut up fast, the Dems will win again in 10.
Wow, what a twisted sense of history you have there.
Or did you forget the /sarcasm tag?

There goes Ron Paul again, around the bend. Sometimes he makes sense and then he adds something and boom, his head went soft.
Maybe he’s bi-polar. Uh huh.

Ron Paul can’t possibly be as stupid as he sounds, can he?

Who to believe, Ron Paul or Dick Cheney?
No contest, I pick Cheney anytime over fruitcake Paul.
It's easy to be an ideologue, not so easy to be realistic and pragmatic.
