A liberal as a Stooge. How about Al Franken as Curly?
To: ConservativeStatement
He could play all three at once.

So much for casting against type. From a wardrobe-cost management perspective, at least Penn will get to wear his own clothes for once.
To: ConservativeStatement
That means I will not pay to see the movie.

“A liberal as a Stooge. How about Al Franken as Curly? “
1) Curly had talent.
2) Curly was funny.
Eliminates Frankenfurter on both counts.

He should play the piece of wood that swings around just missing the guy and ends up hitting him on the back of the head.

I’m gonna try out for the Moe part. That way I can slap Penn silly.

this is rehashed old news by that he WAS slated to play the role about a year ago but then backed out because of his cheating ways..that is wife was confronted him and wanted a divorce for the third time. I think they have yet again reconciled yet again. Oh those wacky hollyweird libtard actors.

Is there an original thought left in Hollywood?Apparently none at all. Remaking the Three Stooges has to be the worst idea - evah and doomed to failure. All Hollywood can do is continue to destroy American culture with these cheesy remakes. We can debate Curley versus Shemp all day long but there's no way Sean Penn, a man with no sense of humor will ever measure up to the real thing.

I liked the idea of another Three Stooges movie (even though it’s not original). With Sean Penn in it though, I would have to say I would rather take the movie reel, burn the film, drink a gallon of Sunny D and relieve myself on the ashes. Any movie that idiot is in is an automatic pass.

Penn apparently wasn’t smart enough to play Curly.
