IIRC, a statistical sampling technique was thrown out there for census taking early last year. I thought it odd at the time.

These are just things for people to ponder, discussing them ahead of time makes it much harder for them to implement when the time comes.
IIRC, the National Socialists whined and moaned about the vote being ‘different’ than the exit polls in the 2004 election.
I wouldn’t put it past them to try and use some sort of statistical manipulation of the vote results as one way of tipping the balance in their favor.
