Newark Liberty Airport Reportedly in Lockdown Over Security Breach
Ohfergodssake!!! Un-freakin’-believable. TSA is worse than the keystone cops.
The linked article posted in #135 says there are delays there today.
Sounds like the officer "guarding" the exit needs to have his eyes examined, if he needs a bystander to inform him about the central purpose of his job.
Well yeah, there's that idea too. Although, I would think this would already be in place but obviously, I'm mistaken given what happened last night.
People have been dressing down long before 9-11 ... flip flops, shorts and tank tops were around 25 years ago in airports. <<<<<<<<<<<
I remember when I was a kid, and flying was a huge event. My Dad wore a suit and my Mom was dressed up, including gloves, no less. Not nearly as comfortable as today, but a substantially classier view at the airport. Of course in those days, people dressed up to go to Las Vegas, as well (before it was kid friendly).
Wow! That new facility looks a lot better than the old. What I remember most about the old airport was the lack of signage. On my last trip, I was trying to find baggage claim. Followed the signs so far; then all of a sudden the sign for baggage claim disappeared. Even worse, I had to ask two different people before I could find my way. The first one spoke English as a second language; the second did point me in the right direction. This person told me it wasn’t my fault; apparently, the airport was undergoing some renovation and had not replaced some of the signs. I guess baggage claims was one of them.
But thank you — that is a really nice photo.
It is the madness of political correctness that is causing all of this chaos.
Your Federal bureaucracy at work. There will be lines like this at your doctor’s office with Obamacare.
