A spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service said the agency is investigating an effigy of President Barack Obama found hanging from a building in the Georgia hometown of former President Jimmy Carter.
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told The Associated Press that the large black doll was found Saturday morning along Main Street in the small town of Plains.
According to footage from WALB-TV, the doll was hanging by a noose in front of a red, white and blue sign that says "Plains, Georgia. Home of Jimmy Carter, our 39th President." A witness told the television station that the doll wore a sign with Obama's name on it.

We’ll see more of these nearing 2012. Such a farce though, everyone knows we’re not a racist nation, if we were “we” (barf) wouldn’t have elected a half black guy president. Nice try Axelrod. Matthews and Schultz and Maddow et all now have something to talk about again. Pathetic.
Things have a way of getting ugly when a civilization enters a period of rapid decline. I’ll personally count us lottery lucky if this is the worst thing the growing anger gets channeled into. I get visions of the Balkans when I think of America’s near term future.
It's always a liberal.
Mannequin commits suicide - film at 11.
It’s all about misdirection and an attempt to re-trigger BDS.
You ask “to what gain?”, and I say, there really doesn’t need to be gain, only retriggering of Bush hatred. That well isn’t used up yet, it may not be until 2012.
Whether the effigy was created by a Dem idiot or a Rep idiot, there’s no contest in terms of the MSM being able, with zero evidence and zero accountability, to paint it as the move of one or more racist, right-wing extremists. They will trot out Olberman, Maddow, Garofolo and Ed Schultz, maybe even Tom Friedman, Larry King will have some ex-Klansmen on, and it will be a complete circle jerk of the most puerile and baseless insinuation imaginable. Imaginable by them, not by anyone wishing to remain objective.
There will be a new DOJ investigation begun into newly burgeoning hate groups, perhaps even a newly designated permanent group. Barbara Boxer will renew her call for enhanced hate-crime legislation and proudly cite this as just the latest example of decades and decades of horrible crimes committed against those less fortunate, you know, the same ones who cannot afford their health care. And they will continue this media circle jerk until Axelrod believes that the Xmas bomber thing has been bumped off the front page. This is a false flag operation, clearly. There will be a whole new raft of questions on handout sheets distributed to reporters to slavishly ask/bemoan, at 0bama’s next few pressers, “what can we do about this incessant, horrible racism in this country?” And then the Maxine Waters and Jesse Jacksons and Sharptons of the world will pile on. And the Xmas terror thing will just be systematically shoved off the front page. They may even arrest some piece(s) of trailer trash and parade him/them around on TV.
You’ll forgive me for being cynical, but to me, this couldn’t be more blatant. The good thing for them is how clumsy they can be and still get away with it, because no way no how can they ever be questioned about it.
Why wasn't the black woman arrested? Hmmmm?
This stunt is a typical hate crimes hoax that will eventually be proven to have been staged by an Obama voter.
odds are 50:1 or more that it is some kind of liberal agit-prop to stir things up, get it all blamed by media on “radical right” etc.
Bear in mind that people who do this stuff are likely not black or muslim, so Eric Holder will prosecute these cases personally. I hope the perp has plenty of money, though if they live in Plains, I doubt it.
I'd recommend he/she wear clean underwear at ALL times, & go ahead & order a new front door.
Can't you just see the fool at the Dollar General: “Uh, you got any large black dolls, rope, & some red, white, & blue markers? Can I pay for it with my new Capital One credit card?”
Sadly enough, I can see everything playing out as you describe...you have studied the left’s media routine very well.
The only thing I’m wondering...Olbermann, Maddow, Waters, King, Sharpton...could we have finally reached the point where the independents (not the moonbats) -— with everything going on from unemployment to terrorist attacks to health care -— finally stop listening to people like them and their same old song?
Could the race card now elicit a collective groan?
“Sheets” Byrd seen sneaking out of town??
Okay, I wouldn’t do that.
Now, a Jimmy doll, on the other hand...
Suppose you were married to the ugliest girl in town. For years, that is all you were known for, you’re the guy married to the ugliest girl in town. Then one day, someone married an even uglier girl. That would, it seems to me, be a cause for celebration.
Most likely the work of our “friends” at ACORN

This Marxist/Muslim pos deserves the highest form of disrespect.

I remember a noose being hung at Columbia, I think, outside a black professor’s office. But we never heard anything else about it. I bet that professor did it.
“Lynching was named for Colonel Charles Lynch who used the practice (stringing victims up by their thumbs) during the American Revolutionary War to deal with Tories and criminal elements. After the war, as the nation expanded so did the practice of lynching. The rule of lynching as a method to maintain the social order was referred to as lynch law .
In the mid-1750’s, the colonial village of New London in central Virginia was an important trading center, however, it was difficult to reach from northern towns (such as Charlottesville) due to the necessity of fording the Fluvanna (now James) River, which passed twelve miles north of the village. John Lynch, son of land-owner Charles Lynch and Quaker Sarah Clark Lynch, decided to remedy this problem, and in 1757, established a ferry service on the James a few hundred yards upstream from the ford, on property owned by his father. The ferry service remained profitable for many years, and by the end of the American Revolution, the village at Lynch’s Ferry had itself become an important center of trade. Lynch saw the possibilities of establishing a town on the hill overlooking the ferry site, and in late 1784 petitioned the General Assembly of Virginia for a town charter. In October, 1786, the charter was granted, founding the town of Lynchburg. “
Learned from the best they did: Reichstag fire?
This is a leftist trick. They are at their best when they’re at their worst.
