Brennan: Cheney may be 'ignorant' of terror facts
President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, said Sunday that former Vice President Dick Cheney's criticism of the Obama administration's approach to the Christmas Day terror attempt is misinformed or intentionally false.
"I'm disappointed. The vice president or others are either willfully mischaracterizing President Obama's actions or are ignorant of the facts," Brennan said on "Fox News Sunday." "I'm neither Republican nor Democrat. I've worked for five previous administrations.....[Obama] says we're at war with Al Qaeda. We're going to destroy Al Qaeda."
Usually when someone says they are neither republican or democrat you can bet they are for sure a liberal and almost always a lying democrat.
He contributed $2,300 to the Obama campaign.
Look at Cheney’s resume and compare it to BO’s. That’s all you need to know. Cheney, someone that has decades of service at the highest level of government and security areas of the US. BO a two bit community organizer that’s probably not even a US citizen.
told ya!
He is better off staying out of it.Odumbo and his minions are making fools of themselves without his help
If Cheney was wrong the Obama regime would have ignored him.
Instead the Obama Thugs immediately attacked Cheney because they knew Cheney was speaking the truth and the American Public agreed with what Cheney was saying.
Great post. I don’t know what Washington is doing but it isn’t much. You have all this information and they can’t run the Underwear Bomber’s name through a computer database?
He couldn't hold Cheney's jock ... Cheney's got a bigger pair than Brennan and all the rest of them put together. We need him so badly -- just wish his health would permit him to run in 2012.
Cheney has forgotten more about the WOT than Brennen or anyone in the 0bama administration will ever know. What a douche.
Cheney should find Brennan and tell him the same thing he told Leaky Leahey, “Go F yourself.”
HA! HA!!!!
CHENEY is ‘ignorant’ on terrorism facts?!?!
HA! HA! HA! HA! Stop it, you’re killing me!!!
LITERALLY!!
Thank you for all this information....seems every one knew about this terrorist except Robert ‘th Gibbs and Barack ‘th Obama *~*
His response was telling [paraphrased]:
The President is fortunate to have such people as Napolitano, Forget the Name, Forget the name, blah, blah, blah.
NOWHERE did he include Panetta in his answer.
Looks like Panetta has a seat under the Magic Bus.
Podesta had pegged Brennan for Panetta’s position ...

Obama Taps CIA Veteran As Adviser On Terror - Brennan Has Drawn Fire on Interrogations
Washington Post, The (DC) - Friday, January 9, 2009
Author: R. Jeffrey Smith, Washington Post Staff Writer
Barack Obama has picked John O. Brennan as his top adviser on counterterrorism, a role that will give the CIA veteran a powerful voice on the governments use of security contractors and on other sensitive issues in which he recently has played a private-sector role.
By appointing Brennan to a senior White House position not subject to Senate approval, Obama is also making him an influential adviser on the Middle East and on Iran, a topic on which Brennan has called for a sharp break with past U.S. policy.
The president-elects decision comes only six weeks after Brennan was forced to pull out of contention for the directorship of the CIA because of fears that his statements supporting some controversial interrogation techniques would have complicated his confirmation.
The firm Brennan heads, the Analysis Corp., and its corporate parent have earned millions of dollars over the past decade assisting several federal agencies and private firms on counterterrorism. Those oil and telecommunications firms have worked in countries beset by violence, including Mozambique, Liberia, Colombia and Pakistan all of which have been topics of intense policy debate in Washington.

The Center continued its work on sustainable security by publishing an introduction to the subject after Senior Counterterrorism Advisor John O. Brennan said that the United States must redefine its strategy to include all facets of national power.

It would take a smoking nuke to wake these people up.
President Obama is a U.S. citizen. We just have no idea when he became one.
