Brennan: Cheney may be 'ignorant' of terror facts

President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, said Sunday that former Vice President Dick Cheney's criticism of the Obama administration's approach to the Christmas Day terror attempt is misinformed or intentionally false.

"I'm disappointed. The vice president or others are either willfully mischaracterizing President Obama's actions or are ignorant of the facts," Brennan said on "Fox News Sunday." "I'm neither Republican nor Democrat. I've worked for five previous administrations.....[Obama] says we're at war with Al Qaeda. We're going to destroy Al Qaeda."

So Mr. Brennan: Exactly what would you do or what have you done differently to combat terrorism? Does closing Gitmo and releasing the prisoners back to Yemen, or trying them in criminal court in the US protect us from terrorism? Does Obama bowing down and apologizing to dictators and terrorists keep the US safe? Whatever happened to that information sharing talked about after 9/11? Did bailing out automobile companies and banking/financial institutions and not spending money on homeland security keep America secure?

Your president and his handlers don’t give a dammm about our national security. They admire and worships dictators and terrorists. They WANT the US to be destoryed so they can set up their socialist utopia. Those are the facts, jack....quit trying to excuse your boss’ incompetence by lashing out at his critics. I’d say Mr. Cheney knows a helluva lot more about terrorism than you and your boss do.

Since 'we' knew about Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab as did France, England, and others, Obama must take full blame for what almost and did happen. The time line about this terrorist is practically up in neon lights. Obama is pretty good at ramming unread bills down the throat of congress but seems pretty laid back, actually uninterested in anything out side of community organizing.

All the pretty words that followed are full of nothing and the enemy knows it. Yemen & Guantanamo & the USS Cole should manage to keep Obama awake.
