Fishnet temptress Danielle Chiesi snagged by insider trading scandal
Tony Allen-Mills in New York
Her mother calls her my angel, and the most honest human being in the whole world. Yet federal investigators take a different view of Danielle Chiesi, a former beauty queen turned hedge-fund consultant, who has emerged at the centre of the biggest insider trading scandal to shake Wall Street for decades.
The publication of federal indictments against the flamboyant chief of a $7 billion (£4.3 billion) hedge fund has provided a glimpse into a secretive world of male-dominated corporate networking that allegedly proved almost comically vulnerable to the seductive charms of a woman described by one Wall Street website as a blue-eyed temptress.
Invariably clad in low-cut blouses and short skirts, Chiesi cut a glamorous swathe among the geekish male executives of Californias Silicon Valley, where she built an enviable network of high-powered executive contacts at prestigious technology companies.
She bragged about her contacts, said Deborah Stapleton, a California executive who often saw Chiesi, a 44-year-old divorcée, plying her charms on dazzled nerds at computer conferences. It amazes me that grown, wealthy, successful, hardworking men fell for that.

I guess she managed to offer more than enough to offset old trauma of being dissed by a prom/home-coming queen.:-)
I guess she preyed on those she once despised.

This photo put some doubt on alleged charm of Chiesi. Maybe she was some years ago.

Apparently, the alleged Silicon Valley computer geeks with loads of money. They are probably ‘more guilty’ than this woman. Making a temptress out of this woman is a real feat.:-)

I agree. However, I think her crime was committed in last several years. Unless she underwent major change overnight. It is possible. Some woman is doing fine until they put 20~30 pounds in a few months.

Is this case just coming to trial? The big fish was an Indian guy. She got info on deals and fed it to him.
Much of the hedge fund world is filled with scum like this. Just like Gordon Gekko stuff. Some hard work and some brains but a lot of manipulator scum.
