The holidays skewed the release of polling units to tell him what to think based on what the public perception was to tell him what it was. When the pollsters figured out that 99.99999% of the public figured out on December 26th that this loon was connected to AQ, they had no chance of spinning it any other way.

Why was the president so quick to pronounce that this was an ‘isolated’ incident before, when all the facts at that time pointed to what he is now saying? It seems to me he should have kept his mouth shut if he did not know.
