1:52 PM CST, January 1, 2010 ST. LOUIS (AP) A United Airlines Express flight returned to St. Louis as a precaution because of an unspecified "security concern."
United Airlines spokeswoman Megan McCarthy says there were no incidents during the flight, and it redeparted at 9:30 a.m. Friday after the issue was resolved.
She says Flight 7445 was headed from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport to Chicago's O'Hare Airport when it was called back by the airline around 8 a.m.
McCarthy provided no details about the security issue and referred questions to Go-Jet, the regional carrier that operated the flight.
But Go-Jet did not immediately return calls from The Associated Press seeking comment.
Airport spokesman Jeff Lea says the flight returned because an effort was being made to obtain "some more information about a passenger." He had no other details.
PETN or non-PETN seat sir?
Well ... here comes the portable retina/body fluid/profile scan machine.
"Sir, would you spit in the cup, puff hard and make the balloon expand, pick your nose and wipe it on this cloth ?"
I was thinking this person may be dressed in Amish style clothes.. and that would surely set the alarms off..
Please! I’d rather look at Helen Thomas!
Any Duggars on board?
Lemme guess Grandma’s Depends underwear had to be checked. A smokescreen to make it look like they actually do anything. Fire them all ala Reagan.
A TAS agent remembered that they forgot to strip search the old lady in the wheelchair.
bump
Hmmm.
Bttt.
Muslims were underrepresented on the flight deck. The airline in conjunction with federal agencies declared an emergency, necessitating an air turnback.
A racist pig of privilege white pilot was yanked off and replaced with Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini al-Jihad.
No muslims were offended with the action so the media and feds and CAIR are all happy Yawm Al-Jumu’ah.
