Remember when dissent was supposed to be patriotic? Well, it seems that only applies when a Republican is president. Now that Barack Obama is in the White House, criticism of him is "un-American" and "traitorous." This new "tolerant" view of dissent comes from Joan Walsh of Salon.Com as you can see in this Hardball video from Wednesday. Below is the Walsh money quote but please be sure to also watch the video since it is important to watch as she drops any facade of liberal tolerance and lets her true dogmatic soul reveal itself in both her face and voice which seems to border on dementia:
The climate right now is that Republicans use everything they can to undermine and delegitimize this president. And its actually un-American. Its traitorous, in my opinion. Do you want to give aid and comfort to our enemies? Continue to treat this president like he wasnt elected and he doesnt know what hes doing! He knows what he did. He knows what hes doing. Im proud of him. I believe that he has the stalwart, resolute nature to get this done...

Well when it comes to Treasonous acts the Left hold the Gold Standard.
But what about when Hillary made her famous quote “Questioning the Government IS being Patriotic”?
Does that too also make her a traitor?
Don’t hold your breath for that attack on her any time soon.
Clearly - we must be making a real dent with these weasels, so now we MUST double our efforts.
Personally, I am calling for (or actually demanding), a full congressional investigation of the dereliction of duty by this Administration for REMAKING and CHANGING our National Security to the point where we were attacked by a suicide bomber for AQ on a passenger jet. I expect this to be a major piece of the GOP’s bid to take control of the Congress in 2010?
So I guess they will be sending 0bama’s Jackbooted Thugs to my front door any day now?

Geez!
Sounds exactly like what the democrats do every time a republican is elected president.
But, in the case of Obama, everything he does is un-American and unconstitutional and devastating to our principles and our way of life. There can be no denying that it is the democrats who are the enemy within who are looking to change this country from the greatness that is once was. What the democrats and Obama are doing right now to the country was unthinkable 50 or even 30 years ago.
But, as usual, the democrats are good at accusing others of what they do. They hope that nobody will notice how they are the ones we should be keeping an eye on.

...our mystery President. That is an apt description for BarackO. We don’t know when he regained his citizenship after being a citizen of Indonesia. We don’t know when he changed his name from Soetoro back to Obama. We don’t know if he ever did pass a college course. We don’t know if he ever had a driver’s license. He is one big mystery.

Is that fry cook really from Presque Isle, Maine? He looks familiar. Does he have any relatives in Moosetown?

...our mystery President.
Perhaps we should start referring to him as what we actually believe, and that is, as an "allegedly, natural born citizen of the U.S.". Since we don't have the proof, he is "allegedly qualified" to be the president of the U.S.
Since "allege" and "allegedly" are key words with democrats when referring to terrorists, why not we turn that around and use it with what the democrats and the "alleged" president do. Thus, there are "allegedly" some 47 million people without health insurance; "allegedly" global warming exists; "allegedly" the world loves us more since Obama took office; "allegedly" Obama is not a communist; "allegedly, America is safer since Obama became the commander-in-chief; "allegedly" the American people want income redistribution; allegedly, the American people need and want nationalized health insurance.
Allegedly, Obama wants what's best for the country and he's not out to destroy it.

When they are out of power, Fascists and communists love to promote their opposition to the established order as the solemn duty of loyal citizens. When they achieve power, everyone else instantly becomes enemies of the state. Which, have no doubt: makes them dangerous in time.

That’s exactly how Hitler did it. Anyone who disagreed with him was an enemy of the state. Jews were the scapegoats for all that went wrong with Hitler’s reign. Looks like conservatives are going to be the scapegoats for all that goes wrong with BarackO’s reign.
