The RCMP have made an arrest and are searching a rural Alberta farm in connection with a series of gas pipeline bombings in British Columbia.
Inspector Tim Shields says a man in his 50s or 60s is now in custody. His name has not been released, as no charges have been laid.
Officers are now doing an extensive search of a farm about 25 kilometres east of the Alberta-B.C. boundary.
Police are not saying who owns the property, but a lawyer for convicted gas well bomber Wiebo Ludwig says it is Ludwigs farm.
Ludwig and another man were charged and convicted in two gas well bombings in Alberta.
There have been six pipeline bombings targeting Encana sites in B.C. since October 2008.

Thanks, Fanfan.
If it’s this guy Weibo, I wonder why he’s still not in jail from the previous bombings?
Good deal.
Thanks for the ping fanfan.
