No you didn't, but I'd wager it'd be interesting to hear.
1999 article - very interesting: Islam under wraps
Listed here:Muslim organizations in Latin America
Hezbollah builds a Western base
An investigation by Telemundo and NBC News has uncovered details of an extensive smuggling network run by Hezbollah, a Shiite Muslim group founded in Lebanon in 1982 that the United States has labeled an international terrorist organization. The operation funnels large sums of money to militia leaders in the Middle East and finances training camps, propaganda operations and bomb attacks in South America, according to U.S. and South American officials.
U.S. officials fear that poorly patrolled borders and rampant corruption in the Tri-border region could make it easy for Hezbollah terrorists to infiltrate the southern U.S. border. From the largely lawless region, it is easy for potential terrorists, without detection, to book passage to the United States through Brazil and then Mexico simply by posing as tourists.

It's not Al Qaeda the Obama administration doesn't understand
What's the other worst enemy? Why, the administration's own policies, of course.
American Embassy in Khartoum warns of threats against Air Uganda
Take a closer look at some of the recent jihadi activities that have been glossed over and labeled as isolated occurrences. Click on the hyperlinks to read more details about each story:
October 2008 Shirwa Ahmed, a 27-year-old born in Somalia, became the first American citizen suicide bomber. He left his home town in Minnesota to return to Somalia and commit jihad. FBI officials believe he was radicalized in Minnesota, one of 20 Somali men who disappeared from the state.
May 2009 Four Muslims in New York were arrested as they attempted to bomb two New York synagogues and shoot down military planes in New York State. Three of the four terrorists converted to Islam in a U.S. prison.
June 2009 A Muslim convert, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, gunned down two men outside an army recruitment office in Little Rock, Arkansas. One young soldier was killed. The terrorist said the shooting was in retaliation for the mistreatment of Muslims in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
July 2009 An organization called Hizbut-Tahrir, a politically extreme Islamist group that is banned in Russia and Germany for inciting violence and preaching anti-Semitism, held a recruitment conference at the Hilton in Oak Lawn Illinois. Hizbut-Tahir openly claims Sharia Law should replace the U.S. Constitution and aims to restore the Caliphate as it was during the Ottoman Empire in Turkey.
July 2009 Daniel Patrick Boyd, his two sons, and four other North Carolina men were arrested and accused of plotting "violent Jihad" through a series of terror attacks abroad. Also included in the charge sheet are claims that the group visited Israel in 2007 with the intent of waging "violent Jihad." They returned home, unsuccessful in their mission.
September 2009 An al-Qaeda terror cell was busted in New York. Najibullah Zazi, a 24 year old Afghan-born immigrant who drives a shuttle bus at the Denver airport, was arrested as part of this cell and charged with "conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction." This is the first operating al-Qaeda cell to be uncovered inside the U.S. since the 9-11 attacks.
September 2009 Hosam Maher Husein Smadi, a 19-year-old Jordanian illegally residing in the U.S., was arrested for attempting to use weapons of mass destruction. He parked an SUV he believed to be loaded with explosives in a parking lot outside the 60-story Fountain Place building in downtown Dallas. Smadi expressed his allegiance to Osama bin Laden and says he came to the U.S. to wage Jihad against America.
October 2009 Luqman Ameen Abdullah, the imam of Detroit's Mosque of Truth, was killed by FBI agents as they were trying to arrest him on charges of conspiracy, receipt of stolen goods, firearms offenses and more. According to the indictment, Abdullah was preaching "offensive jihad" in his mosque, and the establishment of a Sharia state (Islamic law) in North America.
October 2009 Faleh Hassan Almaleki, an Iraqi man living in Arizona, ran down his daughter with his car because she had become "too westernized." She died as a result of her injuries. He was able to flee the country through Mexico and fly to London where he was denied entry and returned to Phoenix.
November 2009 Major Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood Military installation in Texas, killing 13 and wounding 42. The U.S.-born Muslim of Palestinian descent shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he began shooting. Hasan had been the subject of terrorism probes, but Federal authorities dropped the inquiry after deciding that his communications to radical imams and al-Qaeda warranted no further action.
November 2009 Federal prosecutors seized five buildings including mosques, schools and a Manhattan skyscraper because of their alleged financial ties to Iran. Prosecutors claim that the Alavi Foundation, a Muslim organization that owns the buildings, is engaged in money-laundering sending the cash back to Tehran.
November 2009 Federal authorities in Philadelphia announced charges against four men for their alleged participation in a two-year plot to funnel money and weapons to the terrorist group Hezbollah. Authorities say these men are linked to additional support networks in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
December 2009 Umar Faruk Abdulmutallab, a 23-year-old Nigerian man educated in London, attempted to blow up a Northwest flight headed from Amsterdam to Detroit. He had explosives attached to his leg which he ignited toward the end of the flight. He was apprehended by passengers and crew after they heard what sounded like fireworks and saw his leg and the wall of the plane on fire. Abdulmutallab claimed that he was carrying out the act for al-Qaeda.
Are wood products banned from carry on?
No, they are not. My husband and son carry wood samples on flights everywhere......including overseas and back.
A law enforcement officer's Jaguar was stolen in Prince George's County on Saturday night with the officer's gun and credentials inside, authorities said.
Authorities investigating human trafficking raid US territory's immigration office
Law enforcement agents in American Samoa have raided the U.S. territory's Office of Immigration seeking evidence of human trafficking in a case that could involve victims from China, the Philippines and South Korea, authorities said.
Law enforcement officials plead for body armor law to be reinstated
A chorus of law enforcement officials from the Bay Area and throughout California made an impassioned call for a recent decision overturning a ban on possession of body armor by violent felons to be reversed.
Men arrested at shipyard gate after weapons found
Police have identified the men as Jesus Acosta-Pileta and Juan Guevara-Pompa. Both are facing concealed weapons charges. Maine State Police Lt. Thomas Kelley says there's no indication that the men had malicious intentions. He says both men had permits in Pennsylvania to carry concealed weapons, but the permits are not valid in Maine.
Snips: Health officials are waiting for test results on about 30 African drums used at a local ministry center after they were unable to find a link between two of the instruments that tested positive for a form of anthrax and the Strafford County woman suffering from the disease.
Dr. Jose Montero, the state's public health director, stressed Monday the case is very complex considering the lack of precedence. The woman is the nation's first case of gastrointestinal anthrax, according to Dr. Elizabeth Talbot, an infectious disease professor at Dartmouth Medical School who is assisting Montero.
Adding to the complexity of the case is the fact the woman's drum is made of synthetic animal hide, while regular animal hides have been a source of naturally occurring anthrax before. Those cases have involved cutaneous and inhalation anthrax not gastrointestinal anthrax, "which means somehow our patient had to ingest the anthrax," Montero said.
Thank you MamaDearest for the ping.
Anthrax on African Djembe drums
Snips: The risk of acquiring anthrax from an animal hide drum is very low. Of 236 cases of anthrax reported to CDC from 1955 through 1999, only one case of cutaneous anthrax was associated with a goat hide bongo drum purchased in Haiti.
Some importers claim to inspect for Anthrax. However, drums can not simply be inspected for Anthrax.
Snip: In 2007, two members of a Connecticut family were treated for skin anthrax traced to animal hides used to make African drums. In 2006, a New York dancer and drum maker who collapsed after a performance in Pennsylvania recovered from the first case of naturally occurring inhalation anthrax in the United States since 1976.
Ooops, that’s anthrax, NOT antrax! Sorry about that!
Burning brush will at least keep you warm.
I posted a bunch of old recipes and the LDS survival posts from 2002, so have been busy and you will never catch up.
Do be careful.
Obviously, this is not the most effective way to combat terrorism. The most effective way to prevent another 9/11 style attack is to root it out before it even starts. That means taking advantage of the modern intelligence we have and abducting members of domestic terrorist cells before not after they “go hot.”<<<
That is the normal and sane plan.
One must remember that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Plane arrives safely at Newark after landing gear failure
- A United Airlines jetliner landed Sunday without one of its landing gears fully deployed after a frightening few moments for passengers, who were braced in the crash position before an “unbelievably smooth” touchdown that drew cheers.http://bit.ly/5Ri3qj
The flight from Atlanta to San Francisco was diverted to Colorado where it was swept for bombs and and unruly passenger Muhammad Abu Tahir, 46, was arrested. The Virginia man will likely face federal charges this week.
Notice how they left out the 20 minutes he spent in the bathroom and coming out with no shoes and socks with a razor blade as described on twitter by a passenger. However, I am amazed they gave his name!! Maybe the tide is turning on PC profiling - I HOPE
A bit more on the “unruly” passenger ===> Tahir is a Pakistani national who has been in the United States since at least 2002. His occupation and immigration status could not be learned yesterday. He was reportedly traveling alone. According to press accounts he refused to follow instructions by flight attendants and at one point locked himself in the airplane lavatory.
Tahir, who turned 47 Saturday, was being held in the El Paso County jail at the request of the FBI, said Josh Sepelak, a security technician there. He is being kept separate from the other 1,400 inmates. http://bit.ly/4IneWj
******
Also he lives in Virginia - wonder which mosque he goes to?
If 43-year-old Mansor Mohammad Asad, of Toledo, Ohio, posts the bond, his attorney Frank J. Gaviria says Asad would be required to be under house arrest.
Police say Asad was arrested Wednesday night on a disorderly conduct charge after a taxiing Northwest Airlines flight returned to a gate. Authorities say the incident doesn't appear terrorism-related. http://bit.ly/72FIUC
I’m guessing this will me their new MO in the US
When the trial of Shareef Abdelhaleem begins in a Brampton, Ont., courtroom Monday morning, the Canadian public will be introduced to a new kind of terrorism suspect: An educated and affluent thirtysomething entrepreneur born in the Middle East but raised in Canada who allegedly saw an opportunity to profit from the chaos he would cause.
Until now, a publication ban has shielded this facet of the so-called Toronto 18 conspiracy, the scheme to cause carnage on the streets of Canada’s most populous city that was derailed by a series of arrests in 2006. It’s alleged that Mr. Abdelhaleem was a key player, and was particularly fixated with blowing up the Toronto Stock Exchange building in a bid to affect the economy, to make it lose half a trillion dollars, according to Crown allegations.
The case against him, according to police, includes a recording of him describing the al-Qaeda-inspired plot. This included detonating a two-tonne fertilizer bomb that was to be built in hopes of destroying the TSE building and the three blocks around it.
Mr. Abdelhaleem allegedly said he would short-sell stocks ahead of the bombing, to reap a windfall that could be used to fund more terror attacks in cities like Chicago and New York
