The novel that exposes the real source of terror ... not Osama Bin-Laden, not Al-Qaeda, not some radical fringe group of extremists, but Islam itself
Tea with Terrorists Who They Are and Why They Kill
Nothing has been heard of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua of Nigeria for 45 days after he left the country for medical treatment The president is missing. The executive chair is empty, the in-tray overflowing, and 150 million people are crying out for leadership. This is the crisis enveloping Nigeria, political rivals and activists say, as rumours swirl around the health of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, not seen in public for 45 days.
Africa's most populous country has allegedly become a rudderless ship despite a series of urgent issues, including the arrest of the Nigerian al-Qaida suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, charged with attempting to blow up a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day. It has been more than six weeks since Yar'Adua left the country to be treated for a heart condition, reportedly in Saudi Arabia. The 58-year-old devout Muslim took off without informing the legislature and did not transfer power to his deputy.

Shifting sands of Yemeni tribes strengthen support for al-Qaeda
January 9, 2010
It is a telling photograph: a group of men in a hotchpotch of military uniforms, carrying weapons as they trudge through the rugged desert mountains of southeastern Yemen, heading for an attack. The picture is dated October 14, 1963, and hangs on a wall of the military museum in Aden. It was taken shortly after the British ordered the tribes of Radfan to hand in their weapons. They refused, and instead started shooting and declared the start of a revolution that would end almost a century and a half of British rule in Aden.
Now, in those same villages, tribesmen are again on the move. Al-Qaeda is powerful in the central areas of Marib, Jouf and Abyan, as well as in Arhab on the outskirts of the capital, Sanaa. Ideology, which fuelled the young Marxist fighters of the 1960s, may lure village boys here from the rural hinterlands into the ranks of the Islamists, or to fight again for independence for the south.
The new ideology sweeping the Arab world is Islamism, and its armed representatives are already in the dirt-poor villages of central and eastern Yemen, plotting their own brand of revolutionary chaos. A young teacher from Abyan province, less than 50 miles from Aden, said that in some areas the police would no longer go out in uniform with weapons for fear of being killed.

Fed up with the mainstream media filter, Rep. The religion of peace has police fearing for their lives, who'd have thunk?
Bureau of Diplomatic Security In 2009, The U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) arrested 13 residents in California's Central Valley on charges of federal passport fraud, announced Joseph P. Durkin, Special-Agent-In-Charge of the DSS San Francisco Field Office. The accused allegedly applied, or helped others apply for United States passports using counterfeit, stolen, or other unlawfully obtained American birth certificates and driver's licenses, which is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The majority of these cases were originally referred to DSS by the Bureau of Consular Affairs' Office of Passport. (my note: suspect list follows article
Feds seek custody of illegal immigrant's airplane
Federal prosecutors are seeking custody of an airplane belonging to an illegal immigrant after he was caught aboard at the McAllen airport.
Action 4 News has learned that the U.S. Attorneys Office in McAllen is asking a federal judge to seize an $94,000 dollar airplane belonging to Jorge Aguiniga.
Court records show that the Houston car dealership owner was arrested at McCreery Aviation under illegal immigration charges in July.
TSA clears illegal immigrants to work at NY airport
12/18/09 In the latest of many shameful lapses, the federal agency in charge of securing the nations transportation system approved background checks for a dozen illegal immigrants working in sensitive areas of a busy U.S. airport.
The illegal aliens, from Central America and Mexico, worked in operational areas of Stewart International Airport, a 2,400-acre facility located about 60 miles north of New York City. Stewart is a major passenger airport for the states mid-Hudson region that also handles large quantities of cargo and serves as a military field.
The illegal aliens all had security badges approved by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the agency created after the 2001 terrorist attacks mainly to protect airlines. The TSAs national background check failed to detect the fake Social Security numbers and other bogus documents provided by the illegal immigrants to obtain clearance.
So the embattled 43,000-member Homeland Security agency, which has received hundreds of millions of dollars from Congress to fulfill its mission, granted the undocumented aliens trusted agent security badges. This allowed them to work at an airport warehouse business and access key operational areas. An alert airport employee noticed the suspicious documents and reported the illegal aliens.
This sort of negligence is par for the course for the TSA, which has come under fire in recent years for leaving airplanes extremely vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Just last month the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General revealed that the TSA is failing to ensure the security of tens of thousands of cargo packages transported daily in the bellies of passenger planes, leaving aircraft at risk of a terrorist attack.

What’s Islam? Don’t Ask Google
FOXNews.com
Google’s search engine returns common results to most queries as you type. But the “don’t be evil” company appears to be censoring its results when it comes to Islam.
FoxNews
Type “Christianity is” into Google and you’ll get a list of common searches. But the engine appears to suppress results for “Islam is.”
Type a few words into the search field on Google’s home page and the engine automatically returns a helpful list of popular, similar searches for the words you’ve typed in so far — a convenient way to find the right information.
Enter “Christianity is” and you’ll find results that, while offensive, at least indicate common discussions on the Internet. Likewise, type “Judaism is” and Google suggests other, potentially offensive searches such as “Judaism is false” and “Judaism is not a race.”
But type “Islam is” into the search engine and Google’s auto-results pane mysteriously vanishes, leading some to conclude that Google, whose mantra is “don’t be evil,” is censoring its search results.
According to Google’s Web site, the query suggestions that appear as you type are drawn from from searches you’ve done (if you’re logged in), searches done by users all over the world, sites in the search index and ads in Google’s network.
The company also explains that “We try to filter out suggestions that include pornographic terms, dirty words, and hate and violence terms. If you encounter a term that should not be suggested, please let us know by posting in the Google Web Search Help Forum.”
Perhaps the returned results are so inappropriate that all results have simply been turned off, an option some Internet users label ‘cowardly.’ After all, search for hot-button items such as “scientology is” or “Muhammad is” and the results are even more offensive.
A Google spokesman explained that the weird absence of results is just a software problem: “This is in fact a bug and we’re working to fix it as quickly as we can.” But the company would not respond to requests for clarification.
An intriguing corollary: Google offers search suggestions for future tense queries as well. Ask “Christianity will” and Google suggests “Christianity will end, it will disappear,” and “Christianity will end.” Ask the same about Islam and Google notes that “Islam will dominate the world” and “Islam will destroy Europe.”
I adore Steve Emerson. He is one of my heros. he could actually tell me the sky is really a natural blonde...and I might be inclined to believe him.

Those of us who post here find all sorts of things amok with regard to national security (no paychecks involved), but others working for government get big paychecks, head national security departments and somehow the paycheck people don't feel these small, but multiple, "incidents" aren't endangering each and every one of us, which they definitely can and are
Thanks for the ping to a good collection of news.
Just saw Mitt Romney’s interview on Greta - he was nearly frothing with anger about our security and the financial meltdown....what a difference between him and the One -
He is so intelligent and insightful and accustomed to being decisive and a man of action. Comfortable with being a grown-up.
Hillary was right - the One isn’t up to the task when the phone rings at 3 a.m.

Druglord?
Really angry about that. And those punks want even more power
