Nice catch by Andrea Nill — Queen’s Medical Center, where Rush Limbaugh is being treated after experiencing chest pains yesterday, happens to be a crucial location in the birther mythos. A UPI article mistakenly identified that hospital, not the Kapi’olani Medical Center, as the birthplace of Barack Obama. And even though the article was corrected, the “no one can say where Obama was born” myth has persisted.

In this day and age how anyone can find it acceptable there is even the slightest question as to where the POTUS was born is absolutely unacceptable.

1. If we could get Queens Hosptial to issue a formal statement that it has no record of a Barack Obama being born there on Aug. 4, 1961, and no record of a Stanley Dunham, Obama’s mother, being a patient there in August 1961, then that would put tremendous pressure on the other hospital, Kapiolani (sp?), to put out an official statement about Obama.
2. If I were Limbaugh, I would try to put tremendous public pressure on Queens’ Hospital-—where Limbaugh was recently hospitalized—to put out a formal public statement that Obama and his mother were not patients in the hospital on Aug. 4, 1961.
