HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
I feel like crap.
Argh. THat makes me mad. We cant worry about those asshats right now. We must focus on Rush and praying for his health.
WHEW! We need Rush now more than ever.
Same here. I was immediately addicted to his show when I heard his articulate, comical approach to the major issues of the day. No one can talk to me when Rush is on.
This is good.
Remember the good Lord, charges no interest and is always open, and has no monkey business like TARP. So this Loan, has really liberal terms :-) Yes I had to lighten it up a bit, we are all worried for our Big Guy from West Palm, Prayers quiety on this end....
I dunno what you think you had....but it wasn't a "Laperostopy".
ROFLOL!!!
R U from Arkansas?
Queen’s is the primary teaching hospital on the island. It’s top notch. He’d probably have a better reception from staff at Tripler, but he doesn’t qualify to be treated there.
Phew!
Better Obama than Rush was the jist .
I am on his brother’s website right now, but there’s no info there about Rush :-(
Stable condition: good. Prayers.
He was on AM79 on an hour delay. Now he is on AM600 live and crushing all comers.
WHEW
Thank you, Jesus, in your name I pray.
There are chest pains and then there are chest pains. Having had both varieties I can tell you that the ones that come with major coronary blockages come with a sense of impending doom for me. A strange feeling I wouldn’t wish on anybody but it seems to focus you on the fact that you need to get your behind to a hospital.
AWESOME news. Maybe it was just a false alarm
Amen, Faith. That was beautifully said.
You know Rush and You know how We The People need him. You know our hearts.
You are Almighty, You are our Healer, You are Powerful. You are our Provider. NOTHING is impossible for You.
Please heal Rush, restore his health.
Provide wisdom and knowledge to his caregivers.
In Jesus' Precious Name,
Amen
With any sort of heart symptoms, no news doesn't necessarily mean anything. I once went to the ER with symptoms and it was at least three hours before they ran all the tests and observed changes, etc. Turned out to be reactive hypoglycemia. The standard tests for something like this take a few hours.
And there are several causes of chest pains, not just heart problems. Praying for the best.
