HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
If he pulls through ( and he seems to be ) it will seem even luckier, in light of the fact that 32 year old Brittany Murphy died just a few days ago. One never knows.
I recall when he first lost wt. he mentioned on his show that his doctors said he was boarderline diabetic and wt loss and pt would be of great value to his health. He lost wt and for some time kept it off. I thought that was interesting as my husband was borderline diabetic then too, now he is on insulin.
I hope Rush will be fine and fit soon.

Yeah, I know. I was being more tongue in cheek than realistic. As far as the medical aspect goes he will definitely be treated very, very well. I do think he’d find more “true fans” at Tripler, however. A lot of the docs here are closet Republicans. The nurses are a pretty solid, unionized lefty group but taken individually they’re wonderful people.
Yuck .. the comments there now are despicable.
Well, not to make out my fellow Freepers to be bad people, but...I remember there were Kenedy threads (when he originally got diagnosed) that got pulled because of the nastiness of some comments. But not only is that the exception that proves the rule, there’s the whole Chappaquiddick thing.
Still, overall we wish our enemies good health and repentance and the libs wish their enemies agonizing death.
I always thought he was joking about the double-wide. Wonder what happened to his gigantic ham tower?
mine is from birth defect (malformed ear drums). 36 surgeries by the time I was 6 (cleft lip/palate and ears both). Restored partial hearing but kept telling my mother I would go deaf by the time I was 10, so teach me to talk and sign language.
Lost my hearing in one hear in early 30’s. Now the other ear is going. So I am teaching my husband sign language. I can read lips across the room perfectly. THAT comes in handy.

You’re right about his shows. He brought out the guest, asked questions, and left us to decide. I thought that his location out in Parump was perfect for his show. It set the stage.
Does Rush have body guards? If not, he must have body guards. Communists in the White House are enemies to be dealt with, and Rush must be protected at all times...we need him and he is the best at what he does. I would put nothing past the evil that generates from this administration and RUSH MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES.
I believe you. I also have typing errors from time to time! Don’t know what you did to draw that venom, but you apparently struck a nerve!
I know, I know. But it was printed in the newspaper birth announcements from that date, and his status as a patsy for Soros would have had to be preordained from before birth to fake that. I just don’t think they had it all planned out 50 years in advance.
Rush recently lost a lot of weight on the Quick Weight Loss diet. A friend of mine was on the same diet (in Florida) and also lost weight quickly.
It’s a low sodium, low calorie diet - nothing odd, you shop for and cook your own food - it’s not purchased at the diet center. You eat fruit and veggies and protien every day, including eggs, and also must use low-soduim salt. No dark diet sodas, only clear soda such as sprite or ginger ale - don’t know why, perhaps because they are caffeine free?
