Barack Obama The "bowing" controversies. Calling Kanye West a "jackass." Seeing a number of his first picks for prominent positions having to withdraw their names from consideration. That silly Beer Summit. Gate-crashers strolling in to a state dinner. Gifting the British PM with 25 DVDs that aren't compatible with European players. The "Special Olympics" bowling joke.
Probably not the most dignified first year in presidential history.

I’m with him on everything but the “jackass” part. Kanye West IS a jackass. I respected George Bush and Dick Cheney for calling Adam Clymer out (”... major league a**hole ...”; “Big time.”) ... and Obama got it right on West.

A President shouldn’t have sunk that low. I think he is right.

He didn’t make a public statement, so I’m not sure it was “sinking that low”. It was a candid moment in front of a hot mike ... and maybe one of the only honest statements of his entire presidency.
I support the jackass comment. The rest of his presidency is a train wreck.

He hasn’t sunk that low. The media locked off the harbor, pumped the water level down, floated Obama in on his own level and demanded that we see a glorious ship at full tide.
They gave him the naval equivelent of a handicap ramp. We were told he was an aircraft carrier of intellect when he is an aluminum pontoon boat with fake GREEN grass carpet.

Well, I’m surprised as hell - I thought Roeper was so far up 0bama’s ass that he would think the bowing, et al. are good things like so many liberals do.
My comment is not aimed at Obama but the office. Don’t get me started on the Dear Leader. I don’t have the stomach for it.

Actually, I’m not so sure: Andrew Jackson (why the h*ll is he on our money?) brought no decorum whatever to the office. Of course that’s beyond living memory so it would be hard to compare.
Every time the 0ne bows, the MSM suffocates.
Honestly, though, I think they do it to make themselves feel objective. They pick some really obvious flaw that no one can ignore and expound on it and then claim that they are bipartisan.
