Immigrants should prompt voter revolt

MILFORD — .I would like to respond to Mrs. (Marie) Parente's article, "Licensed, unlicensed, and the incensed," published Dec. 16, regarding the exploding quantity of benefits, undocumented aliens receive from U.S. taxpayers.

It seems that with all good intentions, our elected officials have determined that the best way to solve a problem is by throwing money at it. As a state, we have changed from a land of opportunity, into a land of entitlement, all at the expense of legal residents doing the right thing day in and day out.

It is pretty sad when countries like Iran and North Korea can teach us things about how to deal with illegals.

“Our elected officials have removed all incentive to assimilate, conform and pursue the American dream from any individual entering this country illegally. By providing free health care, food stamps, housing and all the other perks not available to legal residents, they have removed the very reason people came here in the first place. They have provided these people with just enough to get by, and to stay in the same social position without enabling the drive which all past generations of immigrants entering this country came here with.”

YEP!

I’ve said for a long time that when an illegal alien is caught, he or she should be treated exactly the same way their country of origin treats illegal immigrants.

Best example would be Mexico. Their government actively supports their own nationals coming to the US illegally as a sort of political and economic “pressure relief.” However, pity the poor Central or South American alien who comes into Mexico illegally. They’re brutalized, and even legal immigrants have VERY limited rights in Mexico.

“Where are our entitlements? Where is our bailout? Why is the shopping cart of the non-English speaking family in front of me, paying with food stamps, full of choice cuts of meat and produce, and mine is filled with macaroni and cheese, PBJ and chicken?

Oh wait, I know why, it’s because they’re not paying for it, I am.”

Are you listening GOP leaders????

Here’s what they look forward to in Mexico...

May 2009

Here is a grisly crime, worthy of outrage. Two teenagers (13 and 15)
murdered an illegal alien by decapitation. Afterwards, the young murderers cast the victim’s body into an abandoned well, put the head in a backpack and dumped it on a pile 150 meters away. Thanks to a tip from a local citizen, police found the remains three days later and the boys are being prosecuted.
They aren’t, however, being prosecuted for commission of a hate crime . Why not? Because it happened in Mexico, in Ciudad Acuna (across the river from Del Rio, Texas). The illegal alien was from Honduras, had only been in the border town for a week, and was planning to cross over into the United States. The adolescent killers were Mexicans.
According to the report in El Universal, Mexico’s paper of record, the victim was earning money in the border town by washing cars, biding his time to cross the border into the United States. However, soon after having arrived in Acuna, the Honduran had gotten crossways of the 13 and 15 year olds who later killed him. The killers also worked washing cars.
In Mexico, some young men work in the informal economy by washing cars in a public place . Given that the victim and his killers were car washers, is it possible that it resulted from some sort of work-related dispute? Was this Honduran illegal alien horning in on their work site, or washing cars cheaper and thus undercutting their earnings?
This is just speculation. But it’s a possibility. Whatever the specific causes, it’s yet another result of the international migration of illegal aliens which causes so much havoc.

Hate crimes are PC BS. There should be no such thing as a hate crime. Glad to see Mexico hasn't caved to that brand of PC crap. Murder is murder. You can't have love in your heart and kill someone out of hand.

All hate crimes in the US should be dumped, immediately if not sooner.

To enter legally, means to be documented, and thus not entitled to the generous benefits package afforded to illegal immigrants.

I dont know about 2009...

But when I immigrated here in 1971, I had to sign a document and swear that I would not APPLY for any type of aid...food stamps, welfare, medical etc...

I had to have enough money on me to support myself for 90 days until I received my “green card” (Alien Registration Card) at which time I could work...(It was $1,000 in those days)

I got the card in the mail and started work about the 60th day...

What is wrong with that process ??? Nothing...

All the paperwork was done at the American Embassy BEFORE I left home..

I had to have a full medical checkup and shots and a chest XRay (Paid for by me)

A criminal background check..

Sign a document and swear that I understood I would be deported if I committed a felony in the US..and could be deported for less serious crimes...

Place my hand on all the documents, raise my right hand and swear that every word on the documents were correct to the best of my knowledge (understanding that if there was anything falsified, I could or would be deported)

What happened to all those requirements ???

It used to mean something to come to the US at one time...
