They were terrorists long before we set foot in the Middle East. They’ve just decided to turn their attention more on us, because we now have the largest presence there, and we decided long ago to throw our lot in with the Israelis, who they hate to distraction.
Even a modest glance at history bears this out.

They know that the West is an easy and cowardly target that fights terrorism abroad at the expense of their brave troops but allows the free spread of it at home at the expense of the troops’ families and loved ones.
The Islamists do think that Muslims stats are simply provinces of one caliphate. They at least know that what we are seeing IS a clash of civilizations, civilizations that are radically different. Dr. Paul doesn’t understand that the division of the world into “states” is a western concept, that “International law” clashes with the Muslim notion of Sharia.
