I’ve already written about how his isolationist garbage leads inexorably to nonsense like this, so let me just add two points. First, and most obviously, there is no U.S. occupation of Yemen or Nigeria. The only way the airline plot is a reaction to U.S. “occupation” is if you accept the jihadist premise that there are no Arab/Muslim nation-states but rather only one Islamic caliphate waiting to be born. Only in that way does the U.S. occupation of Iraq warrant a reprisal from, say, a Pakistani or Yemeni. And yet, needless to say, if Britain was attacked tomorrow and Obama pledged U.S. forces to assist in the reprisal, Paul would be the first guy to scream that we should scrupulously observe national boundaries and not go fighting another country’s battles for it.

You didn’t answer the other question. Why bother to come all the way over here to do it? You can kill infidels anywhere. You said it yourself, there are Christian sects in Iraq.
Once again, you’re making an assumption about me - that I don’t believe that people could be “that evil.” But you know nothing of the evil that I’ve experienced, often because of group think. The islamists are often crazy, I’ll give you that, but I’ll take crazy evil over some of the evil I’ve known, any day.

You are still trying to tie it into Ron Paul’s left wing occupy. It won’t work.
The enemy have also gone to the Phillipines, Spain, London, Indonesia, India, France, etc, etc, and set off bombs and killed people.
There are multiple reasons for the terrorism in all those places, not just Al Qaeda. France and it’s ties in Algeria, Spain’s bunch of loonies that have been around forever, England for their support of our war in Iraq.
The main thing the islamists want is American military off their holy lands, but when it comes down to us killing them on their lands - you have a bunch of people who believe that they’ll go straight to Heaven if they die defending Islam and a foreign (and what they consider corrupt via the Hollywood immoral culture) gov’t and people that are attacking them.
So what are we going to do, just attack every country with Islamic fundamentalists? Do you think they’ll just conveniently stay in one or two to make it easy on us? We need to bring everyone home to guard our borders.
Seriously, I have looked into the matter, and the REAL conclusion I have come to is that Truthers are willful morons. Sorry.

Here's a REALLY crazy theory for you. Are you ready for this?
Muslim fanatics, commandeering hijacked planes, brought down the twin towers by crashing said airplanes into them. Massive amounts of falling debris smashed into WTC 7, causing major structural damage and fires that eventually brought it down as well. There was no government conspiracy, no men in black suits and hats planting explosives and setting them off during the attack, no government planes or guided missiles hitting the towers, and no secret hiding location where all the passengers on board the planes are being held.
I know, I know - it's just crazy talk, probably dreamed up by some socially challenged wingnut living in his parent's basement who also believes aliens experiment on his body while he's sleeping.
But , hey - you keep believing what you want to believe. It's so much more credible.
