My eyes are tearing a little.
May they have 29 years of marriage like me and my hubby (the great GOP_Harley_Guy).
Thanks so much for posting.
I thought that they changed their name to the “al gore memorial globull warming network”?

I always wondered if it was a good idea to put a person on the spot in full view of the public to be asked a question like that. What if she says, “No?”
What if hse wants to say “no” but feels obligated in front of the public so he does not look foolish?
I don’t think it is a smart idea, unless you are very certain of the answer!
Don’t watch the global warming fanatic weather channel.
I didn’t watch so I can’t tell how ‘sweet’ it is.
I can’t stand the need for an audience that this culture seems to have! Am I crazy?
Weather Channel? No thanks.
Aw, come on. It was better than the latest live coverage of a speech by The Big 0 on FOX.

I agree... It makes a very public, clownish and embarrassing spectacle out of what ought to be a sober, personal, intimate discussion.
I have seen a video of a woman saying no. Not a happy scene.
It was the middle of her presentation, and she didn’t seem all that surprised at all that he was interrupting and going on camera. This had hokey written all over it.
The answer was a certainty.
Lighten up, you are supposed to be looking at the marriage proposal, not the weather. If you dont want to look, surf the net somewhere else. Damn!
“It was the middle of her presentation, and she didnt seem all that surprised at all that he was interrupting and going on camera. This had hokey written all over it.”
The pastor at my old church pulled the same stunt at an outdoor festival, “Y’all gather around I have something important to say”, then proceeded to fawn all over his girlfriend, get down on one knee and proposed in front of the whole congregation. It was a Hallmark moment.
A few weeks later I was a witnesses that signed the wedding license. The date on the license issue was 3 days prior to the proposal and had been obtained by both parties at the courthouse.
There you go. Ouch! Busted! ;-)
