I think she does this conspicuously and on purpose, to appeal to the MTV Cribs mentality of so many sheeple.
BTW, only a complete moron would pay that amount for one pair of shoes...even if she is ‘movin on up’

I was thinking that too. Then blisters set in...
By the way she carries herself, I think those itsy bitsy straps would not last a day.

Kind of reminds me of The Little Tramp, only with the top of the shoe peeled completely off.
It also would help, I would guess, not being a fashion maven, to have cute little toes if you are going to wear something like this. Obviously not the case here.
And another question. When these end up on the Goodwill shoe table, would a Goodwill shopper go for them?

One example of why you do not want the formerly 'poor' and disempowered; finding themselves in the White House. There is much to be said for those in power; being used to it; and the same with having money. They can fully concentrate on the businesss at hand; and not the trappings of wealth; a wealth that in fact, does not belong to them but is on loan from the American people; IMHO.
Not always the case;of course; but 'today'; it surely makes one. Or. . .perhaps, more to truth; it is at least, 'first why' we do not want Liberals White House. The biggest hypocrits of all. 'Blessing the little people' while devouring the higher trappings of power and with insatiable appetites.
Woe abounds; when both MO's meet in one man - and his wife. . .

Michelle O, Haverford, PA:
A lot of people are talkin about elitism and all that. But let me tell you who me and Barack are so you're not confused. Yeah, I went to Princeton and Harvard but the lense through which I see the world is the lense I grew up with. I'm the product of a workin class upbringin. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago...

Actually, think they look very comfortable. . .but not particularly attractive. Think Michelle cannot always show her shoulders/biceps in winter perhaps; so our gaze is now directed at her exposed feet.
Overall impression with print dress is that only market basket on head is missing, IMHO.

I don’t recall EVER seeing an uglier dress. It looks like its parts were found in some ghetto rag bag.

I guarantee you she didn’t pay for any of it!
And it doesn’t matter if they are supposed to pay. It doesn’t mean these people follow any damn rules, laws, etc.!
I have had all the lectures I intend to take from jack*ss BIG EARS and his unfashionable wife BIG FOOT.
Just because something cost a lot of money doesn’t mean it’s fashionable especially when Michelle Obama is wearing it.

Jul-17-09 ...A proposed new law that would extend copyright protection to clothing has designers in an uproar and threatens to widen a rift in the American fashion industry. For Maria Cornejo, whose Zero + Maria Cornejo label is a favorite of First Lady Michelle Obama, the Design Piracy Prohibition Act (DPPA) would protect her work for three years from knock-offs.

Seeing the word "nude" in any descriptive text about that buffalo makes me want to puke.
She is truly the ugliest woman I have ever had the displeasure to look upon.
I thought that Jacqueline broad was over rated, but this one...damn!
"Coyote" also comes to mind.

Those are some ugly shoes. I have big feet and I tell you the ONLY reason I would consider something like those is because my feet were too big for anything else.
