Yes, something should have been done when his dad when the the embassy to report his son. I am in agreement with you on that point and believe that the officials who made the decision to not combine the “Terrorist Watch List” with the “No Fly List” should be held accountable.
However, I have to disagree with you on the whole terrorist release from Gitmo to art therapy program.
I am opposed to releasing terrorists from Gitmo so they can enter art therapy and believe that the officials who made that decision should be held accountable.

IF this story is true, the jihad freaks were released (probably in handcuffs) into SAUDI custody. Hence, it would be a SAUDI problem.(not Bush's fault)
Also, the enemy-on-the-left can't use the issue, since they wanted (and still want) them ALL released anyway. Never the less, this should end the debate on closing Gitmo (unless the plan is to um...martyr the occupants first, then close it - which is fine by me).
