The man who allegedly tried to blow up a transatlantic passenger jet over Detroit has reportedly claimed that he is one from a production line of terrorists that has been trained in Yemen by al-Qaeda.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who is charged with the attempted Christmas Day bombing of Northwest Airlines flight 253, told FBI agents others with similar training to him were now ready to launch their own attacks, according to the US network ABC.
The claim came as al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula released its first communication since the failed bombing. In a written statement it called on "the people of the Arabian peninsula" to attack American military installations, ships and "spying embassies".

I’d love to see people refuse to board a few planes if there were ANY Middle Easterners in the check-in lines...

I like the idea.
But I would have two planes.
- plane 1, all who belong to the “religion of peace” plus all bleeding heart liberals who excuse their crimes
- plane 2, all normal people
Do not execute terrorists. Put them in prison for life and give them a TV that plays only daytime TV over and over. No martyrdom. No 72 virgins.
You bet! TWA 800 all over again, to be sure. As the old adage says, "Dead men tell no tales."
If the government can, they WILL skew the story in the MSM to show that it was an error or an accident.
This administration will do EVERYTHING they can to cover up negative publicity and pimp the positive. I've got $10 on the TSA coming out and saying, "When confronted with a possible situation on an airliner, it is best to stay seated and allow flight attendants to care to the matter."
Sorta like cowering in a closet with a phone call to 911 will save you from a home invasion, right?

Interestingly enough, the same area where Abdulmutallab was seated on Flight 253 (seat 19A) was covered with residue from the same explosive (PETN) on TWA 800 (see below).
The New York Times even reported it...
... until they got their marching orders from the Clinton administration. Then it was dismissed as residue from a bomb-sniffing dog exercise in St. Louis.
This is why TWA 800 still matters.
At least you get it, there is no such thing as Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny or Terrorism to this administration. These are only criminal acts which are to go through civilian courts!! What a crock of $hite!! Keep Gitmo open for it sounds like there will be some new additions to its population.
This was a MAJOR national security breach and an attack (even if failed in part) upon the United States of America, on the day we celebrate Jesus' birth.
And they are asleep at the wheel, either through incompetence or political correct design.
