Napolitano: "The system worked"
DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up the Amsterdam-Detroit flight this week demonstrated that "the system worked."
Asked by CNN's Candy Crowley on "State of the Union" how that could be possible when the young Nigerian who sought to set off the bomb was able to smuggle explosive liquid onto the flight, Napolitano responded: "We're asking the same questions."
Napolitano added that there was "no suggestion that [the bomber] was improperly screened."
Stupidest woman in a command position since Janet Reno.
The system DID work. BHO’s secret plan is to put Dutch tourists on planes to subdue terrorists.
I kid you not, this is the exact wording. I will try to get this translated in English and up as a major story on FR tomorrow. The criticism from overseas is starting to come in about Obama and Napolitano, as it should, over this situation and future AQ attacks that are more than likely just around the corner.

BS, the passangers saved that plane. DHS had nothing to do with it. Maybe if they would more closely screen middle eastern men, instead of old grey haired white people, they would do a better job.

She could be right ... if "the system" is having a watchful Dutch guy sit behind and to the side of everyone who might be a terrorist on a plane.
