Chris Wallace on Fox and Friends right now saying that there are 1/2 million on the watch list and we can’t go over that list every time a plane loads.
Now he is pointing out that they didn’t act on the additional info, although he is muddling this by not saying exactly what the additional info.
Fox guy asks about the 3-hour delay in informing Obama. Wallace asks what he could do.
Pffft. Wallace is blaming underlings and saying you really can’t blame Obama. Now talking about how he had a visa for over 2 years (blame Bush) and completely AVOIDING the fact that HIS FATHER TURNED HIM IN TO THE US EMBASSY A MONTH AGO!!!

Computers can instantaneously change a Visa Card account for even the tiniest purchases. This happens millions of times a day. The US Government chooses not to use the power of computers for things like knowing who enters and leaves our country. They don't like things that catch everyone equally since that takes away their power to pass out favors to their preferred people. Where are the statesmen? sigh
Oh come ON! Computer programs can do amazing things- those names can (I thought that was the whole point of the list) be run through the data base whenever a reservation is made- then alerted and checked against other similar names and/or other watch lists.
Someone needs to ask Wallace WTH he thinks is the whole idea behind a list in the first place..

I heard a very different number for people on the ‘watch list’ but, large as it is, I think airlines should be advised of everyone on it so that special attention should be given to those people.
Duh. Netflix can keep track of every thought I’ve ever had regarding movies and with sophisticated computer systems, it would not be impossible to check those cited people who are trying to board planes.
Instead they want to make flying even more difficult for the rest of us. And no blankets!
