"...although Tapper didn't sound (very fair) it today, imho. He's up for the job permanently..."

Upon further review... I've explained Tapper's apparent bias today. Duh. Got to make the right impression with the big boss, eh? He would not have advanced his chances of landing the job by coddling conservatives, now would he?

Isn't that the truth about Major Garrett!

I swear, he has become the biggest cheerleader for Obama, with every item reported with the tones of worship. Disgusting!

"As I have been saying for years now Wild Bill Nelson is the dumbest man in the Senate challenged only by The Happy Hooker Mary Landrieu from LA."

Whoa, now, hold on a second there. Don't forget the Senator actually voted dimmest bulb: Patty Murray (WA). With her Senator partner (probably in more ways than any of us want to think) Maria Cantwell, WA state is very well represented, NOT!

John is probably right. We here on FR are so far ahead of the fray/info curve may things look so simple to calculate and we wonder why others don't while the rest of the country is playing a massive game of catch up and many never do.

The knowledge we have from FR is probably so far superior to most anyone we will meet all week it's not even close. Things we take for granted are huge mysteries to some.

Oh please.

I can’t believe my lying eyeballs that this admin is sending out silly and stupid mouthpieces for damage control.

That Nepolitano woman, who was all busy including tea party attendees to radical right wing gun shooting Timothy McVeys just last year...how does this woman sleep at night? She’s telling us that the fine Nigerian homicide bomber was on a list with a half a million names; that it would be impossible to do something about it.

Then there’s the fine, fine David Axelrod, who makes millions doing PR for OBamer....he’s saying the same thing.

It’s their only talking points but you know what? Americans ain’t buying it/

Yeah sure, we know that you can’t really stop everyone believed to be involved with terror leanings from flying a plane. We’re not stupid out here in la-la land.

What we DO know is that this political correct nonsense with Muslims gets old and don’t forget ole Obama told us all not to blame Muslim for that Fort Hood guy and then we get the Nigerian guy and HEY WE GET THINK SOMETHING AIN’T QUITE RIGHT AS REGARDS THIS ADMINISTRATION’s HANDLING OF TERRORISM!

Not to mention, ahem, that fine, fine notion, by this administration, of bringing these fine fellows into our country when take a poll, how the many Americans were ever championing this action?

It’s those cuts. Napolitano’s defending paper cuts when the handling of the manner is busy bleeding a hemmorage. Axelrod, same thing. They’re whining about a million folks on some list when another cut goes deep into the many before it by an Obama administration that has America very suspicious about whose damn side it is on.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Napalatano...sheesh. Axelrod at least makes money from his deceptiveness. Janet? God what a loser.

WHITE CAT IS STILL IN TREE!

The woman from the Washington Post talks about the health care bill and suggests that the Democrats need to campaign on something about Grandma getting her donut hole filled.

Good catch, the left's take on the the terror attack is sad, compared to what an average administrator who actually cares about the country would do.

Simply say we will change this or that and do much better protecting the country next time.

Instead,The left always has to make excuses and blame the other side for any miscue that happens on their watch. No accountability ever from them.

I expect this to make things even worse for doctors.

#####

Count on it! I have heard some details from physician relatives. Bureaucrats will have so much power.
A large part of the predicament we are in now is because of the evolution of separation of patient paying doctor for service.

Congress is going to further distance this patient-doctor relationship.

Neither patient nor doctor will be able to act without the approval of a government clerk.

Just imagine post office clerks in charge of how often you can see your doctor, or get referred to a specialist!

I think you are right about the media abandoning Obama. I think that Christmas Eve warning from Bill Daley was a signal.

No one can say Daley is a disloyal democrat. So when confronted with his opinion, the media may decide that it's ok for them to jump ship as well.

Now some won't..the MSNBC crew is pretty far left.

But other groups may do so, at least to the point of airing some criticism. I think especially if the poll numbers look bad this summer, they are going to muddy the waters by criticizing him and giving democrats cover to run against him, preserving their seats.

You ought to start a pool for the first major network to turn.

Oh, do not get me started about that! People in the southern part of the state voted for Baron Hill over Sodrel because they were mad about DST, like a congressman had anything to do with it.

And we HAD DST here in the early 50's. I remember going to bed during daylight when I was a kid, and griping about it, and being told the time had changed.

My words for those folks: GET OVER IT. Everyone else in the whole country (except maybe Arizona) is on Daylight Savings Time. Quit gripping!

Good grief, it makes me crazy when people start in on that!

Did you know why Arizona and Indiana were the only 2 states who didn't have DST? Eugene Pulliam, publisher of the Arizona Republic and the Indianapolis Star hated DST, and since both of those papers were the biggest and most influential in each state, he managed to keep it from those states for almost 50 years.

That's my trivial bit of information for the day.

Read the book “The Chilling Stars” by Henrik Svenmark. To summarize:

1. The earth is constantly bombarded by cosmic rays, which cause cloud formation.
2. When the sun is active, its magnetism deflects some of the cosmic rays, which means less clouds and warmer earth.
3. When the sun is lazy (like now), more cosmic rays make it to earth resulting in more clouds and a cooler earth.
4. When the earth passes through heavily star-populated areas of the Milky Way, the sun cannot overcome the immense number of cosmic rays and we have a severe drop in temperature, aka an Ica Age.

Book has actual charts and statistics. I can’t see where they are wrong. The CO2 people are in on a big scam and meanwhile, we ought to be working on ideas for how to stay WARM, as we are still passing through one of those heavy star areas.
