I think you are right about the media abandoning Obama. I think that Christmas Eve warning from Bill Daley was a signal.

No one can say Daley is a disloyal democrat. So when confronted with his opinion, the media may decide that it's ok for them to jump ship as well.

Now some won't..the MSNBC crew is pretty far left.

But other groups may do so, at least to the point of airing some criticism. I think especially if the poll numbers look bad this summer, they are going to muddy the waters by criticizing him and giving democrats cover to run against him, preserving their seats.

You ought to start a pool for the first major network to turn.

I am surprised in that quite a few commenters besides you and I remarked on a belief that the Old Media’s going to flip soon.

I think FreeRepublic, radical Conservatives that we are accused of being, have a pretty good handle on the country’s prevailing sentiment cause, well we’re are that country.

Still i thought I would be excoriated for my assertion. Another commenter gave specific examples of a bending Old Media from today’s line up of talk shows, in fact.

I mean, damn, how long can you believe it’s raining when someone is urinating upon your feet proclaiming it to be rain? Sooner or later there is an odor, perhaps the yellow color of the rain gets suspicious, at some point one would surely notice there are not clouds in the sky?

Let the Old Media get a taste of what it’s like to finally be talking the truth for a change. How refreshing that will be!

Then some of those “journalists” can get busy sniffing out real stories, do exposes...that kind of thing. Maybe even pose as a hooker and a pimp and catch a taxpayer funded organization that majorly brought Obamer into power in the act of aiding in child prostitution but I know that’s a stretch.

As to what news orgs. will topple first, I’d go with NBC cause GE won’t still own it and be waiting for those millions of green jobs’ money, heh. Then CBS, ABC....they’ll see their viewership begin to climb and they’ll like it.

MSNBC...the NY TIMES? Never. MSNBC would have to fire everyone and the NY Times has all those metrosexuals reporting the news. Watch Chris Matthews though. I know he’s hurting, wanting to bad to be part of the national dialogue and being forced to be a stupid tingly legged liberal to get any ears. I think Chrissy’s about to bolt.

Newspapers are yesterday and will likely never recover.

2010 is gonna be a year of big changes as I see it.

WHITE CAT IS STILL IN TREE!
