You need a Catahoula Leopard Dog.

I am assuming this is a dog what can climb trees?

THE WHITE CAT IS STILL IN THE TREE AS I TYPE!

I'm getting nervous. It's been four and a half hours now.

I have seen cats spend more than 24 hours in a tree after a close call with a dog.

Relax!

Cats know how to climb in and out of trees. It is in their DNA. I can think of no cat that cannot get out of a tree so long as that tree touches or sprouts from the ground somewhere. Cats have claws for not only taking prey, but to climb.

If it’s not coming out it is still likely too scared, and that will yet pass, or it likes its perch and isn’t ready to tempt fate again just yet.

Let it be.
