Salvation Army major shot dead in front of 3 children

A Salvation Army major was fatally shot in front of his three children Thursday afternoon as he walked into the the organization's community center in North Little Rock, authorities said.
Around 4 p.m., two black men dressed in black approached Philip Wise, 40, of Maumelle outside the community center at 1505 W. 18th St., Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper said.
Wise’ children — ages 4, 6, and 8 — were walking with him when the men came up to them, police said. His wife, Cindy, also a major in the Salvation Army, was inside the center at the time and called 911.
One of the men pulled a gun, demanded money and then shot Wise, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information contact them at 758-1234.

This is exactly what is going on in Juarez Mexico with the mafia gangs. They don’t give a chit who they kill.. and children are no exception. THIS MY friends is coming really quickly to our country. Our govt. is hell bent on keeping our borders open and letting every illegal settle here.
There are parts of town that I would never consider going into any time day or night.
Downtown has basically been destoryed because people fear going there. It’s a ghost town.
Every day, the front page of our newspaper is filled with articles about violent crime. No doubt that there are some sorry white people but the vast majority of the crime is committed by blacks. A lot of the crime is shocking.
There is no longer justice in this PC country.
So Evil.Prayers.
The main reason it has gotten out of control is LAWYERS. There’s no justice with our “justice system” anymore.
People can walk away with murder. OJ proved that. He was able to do this because of LAWYERS.
The case that I mentioned — about the 85 year old man begin killed in his own front yard by the thug is a miscarriage of justice. If it was my family member that was murdered by this trash, I’d find a way to take justice in my own hands since our joke of a “justice system” failed.
I had heard many times growning up that our justice system is the best in the world. In my opinion, our justice system has been destoryed. It’s a system of laws, not a system of justice.
I have some good friends that are lawyers but the truth is that too many of them have destoyed our system. You cannot do business in the USA anymore so many companies have to move overseas costing us jobs. The lawyers are a great percentage of our healthcare cost but our current politicians fail to address this. The list of where lawyers are hurting this nation is long.
Again, I’ve got lawyer friends but the truth is they’re killing America.
Evil walks abroad on the feast of Jesus’ birth. Satan and his minions seeking those whom they may devour.
God help this beautiful, kind family.

And may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Yet you're not a big fan of capital punishment? Then who is to decide which proven murderers should pay with their life? For example, you're okay with extinguishing these killers' lives so long as they are proven to have committed the crime.
Many agree with you but they extend this punishment to all heinous murderers who have been proven, without a doubt, that they are guilty of murder. IOW, they, and I include myself, believe they should die for their crime(s). If it weren't risky to the victims, I'd include rapists.
If I ever change my mind on this, I'll be willing to say so at Free Republic.
Too bad that SA stores and probably offices are gun-free zones, at least here in my neck of the woods....
Everyone (law-abiding) ought to be armed....
When law-abiding citizens carry firearms, instances like these often turn out differently. Not saying that if Rev. Major Wise had been armed, he would have survived; but perhaps if ALL SA workers were allowed to be armed, the dirt-bags would not likley target them, they do not lke “hard” targets being that they are cowards....
Why do so many charitable/religious folks think armed resistance is ungodly?

I guess I am getting just so damned sick and tired of the evil in this world. the hatred is enough to make one sick. To shoot someone for money and in front of their children well, whoever did this is the devil. I’m tired of goodness being snuffed out by the evil forces in this country and our world.

I claim in Jesus’ Name total freedom over all those who witnessed this act, that the Holy Spirit will bring life and take what the enemy intended for harm and bring great good in its place, according to God’s Love and according to His sovereign will. Amen.
