SANAA (Reuters) – A radical Muslim preacher linked by U.S. intelligence to a gunman who killed 13 people at a U.S. Army base is believed to have died in a Yemen airstrike on al Qaeda militants, a security official said on Thursday.
"Anwar al Awlaki is suspected to be dead (in the air raid)," said the Yemeni official, who asked not to be identified. Yemen said 30 militants were killed in the strike in the eastern province of Shabwa.

If you read the article carefully, there is no suggestion that the US had anything to do with it. However, I saw the “breaking news” report of this on FoxNews, and they implied that the US did have something to do with it. Also, they ran a story immediately after the breaking news report in which they stated that the Saudis and Americans are coordinating military actions along the Saudi/Yemeni border because of Iranian supported insurgents in the area, and that the Saudis have given the green light to the Israelis to take out the Iranian nuke installations.
I’m getting the impression that Obama is about ready to open a third front in this war. That would be ironic for a number of reasons.
Obama cleaning up any connections with this.
The shootings were the act of a single man who cannot be held accountable by virtue of PTSD gained by talking to someone who had seen combat.
Either that, or, he suffered religious persecution by all the Christian soldiers he was surrounded by.
Either that, or, he was acting in self-defense and deserves disability for the harm others had thought about inflicting on him.
Either that, or, he cannot possibly receive a fair trial now and must be set free with full combat gear and unlimited ammunition at another Army base.
Either that, or, (fill in your own lame ass excuse by any trial lawyer, Islamofascist, or member of the Department of Justice).
