Why is BHO spending over a million dollars to NOT release his long form birth certificate?

Speculation. If you look at the link I provided, Obama has only defended himself in three of the 62 cases. That he pays his legal representation is not in disupute. That all this money has been spent defending himself in eligibility cases is speculative. To date, no court has demanded or even suggested that Obama provide further documentation of any kind.

Personally, I don't believe he was born in Hawaii. Of course I can't PROVE it, but it seems that BHO can't prove it, either.

There is no evidence that Stanley Ann ever set foot in Kenya much less had a baby there.

And what's will his wife Michelle being quoted on the campaign as telling his supporters NOT to worry, that they weren't going to let a "little thing like an adoption" keep BNO from becoming prez??

You have a link for this quote?

The state of Hawaii says he was born in Hawaii.

I read about it numerous times during the summer campaign months of 2008, that Michelle Obama told supporters of her husband, that they weren't going to let anything little thing like an adoption prevent her husband from becoming president.

I don't have an account at Lexus Nexua, and can't find the story at google, but I presume that at some point I read about it here at FR, as well as other online news sites.

Maybe it will "ring a bell" with another freeper, who does know where a link to one of the articles about it is.

Anyway ...... YOU can protest all you want, but I don't believe that Barack Hussein Obama is an American citizen, I will never believe it; and I will always believe that he has something to hide.

The state of Hawaii has done no such thing.

His grandmother said he was born in Kenya. A village in Kenya has a site designated as his birthplace. On the other hand, no Hawaiian hospital has claimed to be the site of his birth, and no one has identified the American doctor who delivered him.

We just don't know. All I know is that a lot of people get nervous and angry when the subject comes up.

Don't complain to me if you believe that you can trust the Chief Justice of the United States during such dangerous times as these.

That's YOUR problem.

The Ba-ROCK STAR GROUPIES are out in spades, today!!! LOL

“The state of Hawaii has done no such thing.”

Yes they did. See: http://hawaii.gov/health/about/pr/2009/09-063.pdf

Excerpt:

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”

“His grandmother said he was born in Kenya.”

Nope. She never said that. The full transcript of the conversation confirms this. I'll root around if you want a link.

“A village in Kenya has a site designated as his birthplace.”

Shrug. They can believe what they want.
But the evidence doesn't support their claim.

“On the other hand, no Hawaiian hospital has claimed to be the site of his birth, and no one has identified the American doctor who delivered him.”

US law prevents them from making such a claim.

“We just don't know. All I know is that a lot of people get nervous and angry when the subject comes up.”

We know. A person just need to step away from emotions and look at the actual facts with a rational mindset.

The state of Hawaii, like any other state, is under no privacy law obligations whatsoever to pretend that fraudulently proffered state documents are legitimate. If Barak Obama’s campaign offered up a Hawaii COLB whose salient details on place of birth did not match Hawaii state records, the state is legally free to say that and would do so. That's as obvious as the day is long to anyone not breathing the fumes of Bizarro Birther World. What Hawaii has done, instead, is concur with the information on that COLB, a detail equally obvious to anyone who can read English and understands anything about the real privacy law obligaitons those state officials must meet.

No one gets nervous or angry. We're simply dispirited and appalled at the kind of pitiful straw-grasping with which conservatism is being tainted by this ridiculous “issue.”

Also nowhere in the Scales Vs INS is the term “Natural Born Citizen” even used, once again a glaring smoke screen. trying to prove Obama is a “Natural Born Citizen” with a decision that does not define or even mention the term.

There is also the issue of Citizenship by blood, in this case the court ruled (wrongly I might add) that bloodline wasn’t a factor even though STANLEY RUSSELL SCALES Jr. was not related to his namesake by blood, because the parents were married.

Had he been illegitimate he could not claim US citizenship because he was another man’s offspring.

How that for a kick in the teeth?

As long as an alien mother marries a US citizen a child born to her is a US citizen even if it is not the Citizen’s child, but if an alien mother has an illegitimate child by a US citizen, that child is not a US citizen even if it can be proved by blood.

In a case of liberalism at it’s finest the court ruled that a deported felon not even related by blood, was a US citizen on the sole fact that his mother had married a US citizen.

Again, you've become so emotionally attached to Obama's eligibility that you assume that everyone who's not buying this birther nonsense must be an Obama supporter.

In my opinion, Obama is a disaster, voted into office by 69 million Americans who chose to treat a presidential election with no more sanctity than a season of American Idol. But this birther stuff is garbage. It's not going to remove Obama from office and it certainly isn't going to address the real issue; why the majority of voters in this country chose to elect a man like Obama in the first place. Birthers are counting on a miracle to rectify this while rational people realize that Obama is the result of an electoral process that doesn't always produce the results we want and sometimes painful lessons must be learned.

I concur.

For a future President, Young Barry doesn’t seem to have had many friends. Or did he...

NO, that was not what I was referring to.

I stated that Michelle told a group of BHO supporters - somewhere HERE in the USA, she told real American citizens, VOTERS, that they weren't going to let a little something or a thing like a little adoption prevent them from going to the White House.

It MAY have even been broadcast on C-SPAN -- AND it was during the Spring, or the late spring or early summer -- it was early in the campaign

How about this.

It either did not actually happen, you are not recalling the actual comment correctly or you misunderstood what she said.

Surely you understand the tenuous nature of “I think I heard this said somewhere at some time back a year and a half or maybe two years ago....”

That kind of statement is useless without a solid reference.

Birthers are a setback to conservatism, succeeding only in deflecting attention away from Obama's real failures while allowing him to paint his opposition as unhinged cranks. That's probably the real reason he hasn't volunteered his long form BC. He doesn't want you folks going anywhere!
