Well, I have sent some emails to my senators; as far as I can tell, I’m being ignored.

Early on, I also wrote to my representative. I even tried calling him. My email was returned as “undeliverable” (hard for me to figure out since the email was done as a form on his website), his voice mail was full and no one answered the phone. I just sent him another email pleading to his sense of decency (yeah, right) and urging him to represent everyone, not just a few, in voting against this monstrosity.

Let’s see if I get another “undeliverable” notice or if he just simply blows me off.

I agree with all the comments on this topic, except to say one thing: They elected her. Maybe those furious with her didn't vote for this whore, but I'll bet many of their family and some of their friends probably did. This is where they need to direct their wrath. I've done this with those in my family who voted for Obama. They are totally out of my will. If I should pass before my time, these fools will be out of 6 figure inheritances. That's a change they can believe in.

They should have known what she was like after Katrina. Yes those good people of Louisiana are outraged but they voted for her.

The voters of Louisiana need to do something rather than bitch about Senator Landreiu. She's a scumbag who has done nothing but serve in public office her whole life. She has never had a real job I don't think. So they need to turn up the heat on her. They need to dog her everywhere she goes in the state and make her life as miserable as possible. Then they need to relegate her to the ash heap of Louisiana politics in the next election.

Ben Nelson came to the Senate floor a little while ago to “explain” the corrupt Nebraska deal. He was a complete, stammering fool. There is no explanation except that it was a corrupt political deal. He kept huffing and puffing because in ridiculing the deal someone had made an incidental reference to Omaha Steaks. “You don’t stand on this floor and insult one of Nebraska’s great companies” [approximate quote] Nelson kept saying...because he had nothing else to say that made any sense whatsoever. What a fool.
