Henry Hyde: (April 18, 1924 – November 29, 2007), an American politician, was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 2007, representing the 6th District of Illinois

Hyde was one of the most vocal and persistent opponents of abortion law liberalization in American politics and was the sponsor of a 1979 amendment Labor/Health and Human Services Appropriations bill which prohibited use of federal funds to pay for abortions.

Although “unborn babies saving pro-life folks” is a nice thought, Henry Hyde is not theologically correct. Christian's have but one awesome, perfect and effective advocate at the final judgement-Jesus Christ. The babies may be routing for Him and us, but it is He alone that earns for us the not-guilty verdict. He has the power to earn that verdict even for pro-aborts who repent and look to him for forgiveness and eternal peace.

I have been getting phone calls all morning about this. Relatives that never paid attention before are saying, they will go door to door if that’s what it takes to get nelson out of office!
