Rielle Hunter wants John Edwards to pay $17,910 a month in child support for her daughter, Frances Quinn Hunter, according to the National Enquirer. Private financial negotiations between Hunter and Edwards reportedly broke down last week when her demands for the 22-month-old child were more than the former senator and presidential candidate was willing to pay.
Edwards has never publicly acknowledged that he is the girl's father, but did admit to an affair with Hunter at a time when his wife, Elizabeth, was battling cancer.
Now, legal documents obtained by Radaronline.com appear to show communication between Hunter and her attorney, Frank Louis, preparing to sue Edwards for $214,920 in annual child support.
The documents indicate Hunter is not employed -- and do not factor in any income from her -- but say she spends $2,100 a month on babysitting and will pay $1,500 a month for private preschool.
It is unclear how Hunter now affords her $11,560 in monthly expenses, but it has been speculated that she is living off a temporary financial agreement with Edwards. The documents also prompt questions as to why Hunter would need a full-time nanny if her child is in preschool and she does not work.
Hunter's other monthly expenses for herself and daughter whom the lawyer refers to as "Quinn" -- seem extremely high: $600 for clothes, $800 for vacations, $800 on restaurants and $500 for entertainment. What kind of vacations the mother and daughter take that would cost $9,600 a year is not explained.
One also questions how one woman and a toddler can eat at restaurants to the tune of $800 a month, especially in light of the $1,000 a month they spend on groceries at home.

too true chilltherats,
If you sat down to write a gutter novel you couldn’t have come up with a more slimey plot. Or a more greasy guy.
“Two Americas!”
Did she include future visits to the plastic surgeon with the monthly bills?
John’s haircut doesn’t look up to par in this photo. The top sort of bulges out like a mushroom. I think this whole ordeal has started taking it’s toll and he’s forced to go to the regular neighborhood barbershop rather than having his stylist flown in. Oh, the despair.
Wow whooda thunk a mistress whore having a baby could net her 200 grand a year?
She's a lowlife skank, but he's certainly no better, and he saw fit to build himself a 28,000 square foot home sporting, among other things, TWO theaters (because apparently he didn't see how he could get by with just one). So I really have no sympathy when he and his lawyers try to complain that Rielle's budget for herself and the baby is unjustifiably high. It's probably no more than the monthly electric bill for his mega-McMansion.
If Edwards didn't want any more children to support, he could certainly have gotten himself snipped and avoided all this. He and his wife were certainly well past having any more the natural way (and you can still have them the unnatural way after you're snipped). I seriously think he intentionally got her pregnant. Regretted it later, but it was intentional at the time he did it. These two deserve each other. Too bad about all the kids involved, though.
He should have her and his son move into the BIG HOUSE with the rest of his family. Then they won’t have to live in the other America.
I guess so!
sw
Heck, the BIG HOUSE is sooooooooooo BIG, he could probably move them in there without Elizabeth ever noticing.
You don’t want there to be ‘TWO AMERICAS’ now do you?! /s
bump
I wonder if he bought furniture for her new house for Elizabeth's new furniture store...with a family discount!
All that I can say is that is one very bad looking, very very expensive piece of you know what.........they deserve each other. The one that is losing out on all of this is the child.
I'm sure in Edwards world, that would get extremely ugly.
Interesting......he looks gay and she looks like a drag queen....
