ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said she cut short her Hawaii vacation because of paparazzi, who photographed her wearing a sun visor with the name of John McCain blacked out.
The pictures were circulated widely on the Internet with speculation the redaction was a slight against McCain, but Palin said she meant no disrespect to her former GOP running mate.
"In an attempt to 'go incognito,' I Sharpied the logo out on my sun visor so photographers would be less likely to recognize me and bother my kids or other vacationers," Palin said in a statement.

Yes, she does. She is a public figure. She courts the press. It is clear she is thinking about running in 2012.

Is she so naive as to think the press wouldn’t notice? So dumb that she thinks crossing out her running mates name isn’t going to lead to speculation.
All she had to do was take a DIFFERENT HAT. She could get one for less than 10 bucks. She CHOSE that hat. She CHOSE to mark out his name.

The Paparazzi will follow the Palin family around eveytime they travel to the lower 48. The Paparazzi is something Sarah has to live with. Life is not fair. Deal with it.

I have no idea who I want to run in 2012...but I sure do have a long list of who I don’t want to run. she is not on that list. But I am not going to be like an Obamatron who can’t see faults in Obama... and pretend that what she did was not a bonehead move.
