They agreed on an semi-ambitious joint statement with no actual actions invovled, I would bet. Or China and India agreed Obammy made himself look like an idiot, and Obammy signed on to appease them.

It is bad when you rely on countries like China to make the right decision and block any type of agreement.

I call BS... It’s some kind of loose agreement, with no real actions or requirements. But Obama can come back and boast of orchestrating this ‘meaningful agreement’, and if he didn’t go it never would have never happened. Blah blah... But whatever it says I’m sure it will cost us... Saving face doesn’t come cheap.

Yeah.... “Meaningful Agreement”
They agreed to drop their pants... and Obama/Hillary agreed to kiss their ass.

Any agreement was expected, at best, to envision emissions-cutting targets for rich nations and billions in climate aid for poor countries, but fall well short of the goal of a legally binding pact. If the political deal is done, it would still be seen by many as a setback, following two years of intense negotiations ... IOW, a joint statement that pretends they got something done - so the obuummer wouldn't, once again, come home with egg on his face.
Do they really think anyone is fooled?
