If nothing else, this may put an end to the Global Warming hoax for at least a little while. I'm sure they can resurrect it around August of next year.

The deal includes specific targets for rich nations to reduce the emissions scientists blame for global warming;there will be dispute about what scientists blame, China will pick most convenient.

for emerging powers to reduce them as a share of their economies;they will lie about the size of their economy

a transparency provision that will subject China, India and other fast-developing nations to international review of their self-reported progress on emissions limits;international review will be "allowed" but no one will do them; the "self-reported" progress will be accepted as fact.

and a commitment by wealthy nations to marshal $100 billion a year in climate aid for poor nations by 2020.by 2020? Whoever is president then will tell the poor nations to stuff it, that he/she never agreed to such a thing, congress never approved it....some excuse.

And it is the culmination of a full-court press by the Americans to woo China, including dispatching fully half of the U.S. negotiators to focus on the Chinese, and a sharp rejoinder from Obama in a speech this morning to the leaders gathered here.sharp rejoinder by Obama, heh. Man I got so scared I almost wet myself.

I was born at night, but not last night.

The president promised that the United States would keep its pledge to reduce emissions — in the range of 17% below 2005 levels by 2020 2020 again....always kick the ball down the road— “no matter what happens in Copenhagen.”

How much is this going to cost us?

Haven't we already reached infinity?

If not then we still have much work to do.

“The official described the deal on the condition of anonymity because specific details had not been announced.”

In other words there is NOTHING.
Just like HCR..they just lie and sit in a room thinking up more lies.

After so much hype. It is great to see the whole scam go down into the snowbank. At least now word is out the global warming scientist, where performing criminal activities, and more industrial nations now will have to be more careful in how they treat this fabricated condition.
The world for those that have followed this past months revelations will share info with others. Increasing numbers of people from industrialized nations will see there is not AGW, and in fact the earth is cooling, perhaps for much greater then a decade to come. We have some ammo to convince law makers they had better be careful when talking about global warming and CO2 emissions. We gained a bit of time to not get totally scalped. Or so it could seem at first glance.

The key to the whole thing is that it’s NONBINDING, which means it’s not worth the paper it’s not written on.

The MSM is downplaying that aspect of it.

I agree to give you some money sometime in the future, but my agreement is non-binding, in other words I am not really promising you anything — so how much of my money do you think you will see from me?

WASHINGTON – The Club for Growth today hailed President Obama’s announcement in Copenhagen of a “meaningful accord” with China, India, and South Africa about climate change and green house emissions. Club President Chris Chocola made the following statement after the accord’s announcement:

“Like most Americans, I feared President Obama went to Copenhagen to sign a binding, job-killing, economic suicide pact.

“I am greatly relieved that the last-minute agreement President Obama negotiated is being widely described as ‘meaningful.’ When politicians call something ‘meaningful,’ that means it isn’t.

“Without even reading the accord, pro-growth, limited government conservatives today can celebrate the word, ‘meaningful.’ Today that adjective probably saved thirty million jobs.”

Mr. Obama may eventually become known as “the man who killed Copenhagen,” said Greenpeace U.S. Executive Director Phil Radford.
