Sarah Palin announced Thursday night that she ended a Hawaii vacation early because of the ruckus raised after she blacked out "McCain" on her sun visor in an effort to elude paparazzi.

I'm willing to consider Palin. I'm also willing to listen to other options. That said, you are correct. It does sound as though Palin is whining. Not too sure that whining is a surefire way to lose it though. 0's been doing nothing but whining since he emerged on the national scene. That didn't seem to hurt him too much-then. But I think that it's part of why he's dropping like a rock in the polls now.
She's a CONSERVATIVE. You don't throw away anything that still has good use. She blocked out McCain's name in an attempt for privacy.
I love Sarah Palin, and will vote for her, but she really should have bought a new sun visor.

You are correct. It is a process, and the good news is that she is not allowing others to “manage” her life.
Perhaps a hat from the hotel gift shop would have been less obvious.
I like her alot, but this seems needless and avoidable.

After her legal expenses and income tax, the amount of money she has is probably not that much.
It is not "conservative" to wear that stupid miserable hat -- look at how much money they lost having to cut short their vacation, because they were so foolhardy they failed to realize that they are big celebrities.

This is simply preposterous.
Once that was done she could head out.
She could have bought a straw hat and an outfit like the one below, put on a pair of sun glasses and ignored the media (or had a little fun with them - tell them you're going to the library to look for Obama's birth announcement.. just kidding) and ENJOY her vacation. She is beginning to show a tendency that is troubling.
