Apparently, Louisianians don’t recognize that they are living in hell.

Louisianians are too HIGH to know they're living in Hell.

WA is only like that if you live on the west side. Why do you think so many of them are infecting (via moving) the east side these days?

California is rapidly becoming a third world country. I think that's why so many are grim. They can see the future and the future is Tijuana. That's depressing and that's what bumming so many out despite the spin the liberals are trying to put on it! They drank the multicultural kool-aid and now it's too late.

Also the welfare state that was constructed between 1950 and today is in complete collapse. The economics of the state can no longer support it. Liberals are in denial as they always are, blaming it on Prop 13 or George Bush or whatever. Their world is ending and it's killing them. They never have understood that the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money. The liberals can't accept this.

California is finished. Demographics is destiny-another thing the liberals can't accept. Maybe the very Northern parts of the state can be saved but anything south of Marin County, forget it.

I lived in Hawaii for a few years.

It was a long time ago but I can’t remember meeting anyone that was actually unhappy!

Maryland is ranked #40 and I am not happy about that...

It has nothing to do with the fact that my state is totally controlled by democrats that would like to see me enslaved to the state. /sarc

I'm in Louisiana, and happy.

But I have this urge to go to Alaska after reading Palin's book.

We drink a lot!!!
Seriously, don't equate the third world sh**hole that is New Orleans with the rest of the state. Myself and a bunch of others have no use or need of New Orleans, it is a corrupt embarrassment.

This native knows that Louisiana is a wet hell- especially SE LA. They must have taken the survey after one of the million ‘fests’.
And the Saints ain’t doin’ it for me either. I LOATHE football, and this deifying a football team makes me nauseous.
