The Climategate files were made public just a month ago, and the email messages that were revealed have already had real impact. The emails show us scientists being petty and political, even corrupt. Suppressing dissenting science and perhaps even violating the law to prevent data from being shared with the rest of the world. They show us people with failings, egos against egos. But the emails themselves aren’t enough to call the overall science of CO2-driven, human-caused climate change into question.
The Climategate emails, however, make up only five percent of the Climategate files. The other 95 percent, the programs and data and documents, are where the real story is hiding. That story has begun to come out, in several independent analyses of the data we have, using hints from the emails and from other files and raw data that is available from other sources.
A story is beginning to take shape. This story broke into the world media Wednesday. An article in RIA Novosti, the Russian state-owned news service, states:
On Tuesday, the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) issued a report claiming that the Hadley Center for Climate Change based at the headquarters of the British Meteorological Office inExeter (Devon, England) had probably tampered with Russian-climate data....

Agree. Putin is undoubtedly has a magnitude higher IQ then the Klod, and understands capitalism to a far greater degree.
The sooner we send the Klod to the Klondike (where Sarah’s friends can make him do actual labor for the first time in his sorry life), the better.

And yes, it is a swindle- a fraud and a cheat and a scam-- a deliberately designed construct intended to con you out of things you hold dear-- money, and prosperity, and freedom... and a few other things, as well.
While it is gratifying to finally see the bottom fall out of the climate change bag it is hardly surprising...the old saying is true...extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. After the global cooling kertuffle in the Seventies, the acid rain thing in the Eighties and the darn ozone hole in the Nineties; these ‘scientists’ and their political enablers owe us transparency but deliver us fraud.
For those who aren’t sure what this means, it has to do with the so-called urban heat island effect. There’s no doubt that development around old temperature monitoring stations affected the readings. What was once a grassy field now has a blacktop parking lot next to it, or a large city around it.
The question is, how to account for this effect? Did the increase in human activity raise the temperature readings by half a degree, or one degree, or some other number? The issue is far more complex than it suggests. There is no way to experimentally prove the effect. A study would have to have an experimental group where the environment around the thermometer was changed. The study also has to have a control group where the environment was not changed, and the results of the two different groups are compared. But you can’t do that. Each measuring station is in a different place and different things affect the temperature. You can’t be certain that the urban heat island effect is the reason the temperature increased.
What is certain is that the urban heat island effect requires some downward adjustment of the temperature readings. The readings might have to be reduced by one degree, or more, or less, to correctly reflect local changes. But Darwin’s temperatures were adjusted upwards. The airport went from a military base in 1941 to its present activity of 1,500,000 passengers on 56,000 annual flights.
That activity should increase the readings measured by the thremometers. They should be adjusted downward. They were adjusted upward.
