I have great difficultly understanding what it is that the people who are buying get. Peace of mind.
To: Lou Budvis
what, if any, is the effect of human activity I can answer that. 0.28%.
And of that, the part that human-generated CO2 plays is 0.117%

If you have a quote with her saying she doesnt believe man is causing climate change please post it.Your wish is my command - from 8/29/08:
A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made, Palin said.

You either believe its caused by man or you dont. Everyone on FR seems to think she doesnt believe its caused by man... I still havent seen a quote from her clearly stating she doesnt believe it is caused by man. It's not that cut and dry. Man does have a very slight impact on "climate". But it's so slight as to be hardly measurable.
e.g. Urban heat island effects etc.

"Sarah Palins achievements in office outshine just about every other elected official in any state at all." The question isn't "how much time did you have (in office)," It's "what did you do with the time you were given?" And on that score, Obama STILL has not accomplished as much as Governor Palin (unless accumulating debt to China is considered an accomplishment).

Your chart gives the impression of a higher effect of human CO2 contribution. Yes, human CO2 is about 3% of the total CO2,
but the contribution to the total greenhouse effect is 0.117% (see link in #62 above).
This number is actually what our contribution to “global warming” is, since the entire premise is basd on the greenhouse effect.

I stand by my statement in post 46... You are wrong. You posted,
"So Palin believes in the hoax/marxist scam".
Unless you have a statement of her's to back that up, I still say you are wrong.

The knuckle draggers believe this madness. We have so many stupid and ignorant people. This is the problem. Absolutely, as we age, we generally accumulate knowledge and experience which leads us away from phonies and frauds. These 'carnies' are tempting our youth to toss a ping-pong ball into the myriad of fish bowls, knock down the fake milk jugs (one made of lead) with a softball, and fork-over their allowance and our pensions to save the planet.
A few things have to happen: First, we have to let them try. Second, we have to help them understand why they failed (it was rigged). And third, they have to gain a new respect for those whose wisdom they've yet to attain, and experience they'll only acquire after many years of being around the block.
And when the situation becomes untenable, raise the voting age to 30.

A part of this problem is that the leftists control the high schools and colleges. They pound this nonsense into the heads of the students who are VERY impressionable. There's nothing easier than brainwashing a teen or someone in their early twenties. Once these young fools are hooked, it takes a lot of time and effort to deprogram them because it's a matter of swallowing your pride and admitting you are wrong and were fooled. This is not pleasant.
I have a cousin who just went through this process and she told me that at the time what she heard from these people sounded reasonable at that point in her life. It was only in her late 20's and early 30's that she was able to put the pieces together and see how she was fooled. Some NEVER go through this process. I know a number of them. They are in their fifties and have proven Winston Churchill right when he said that if you are forty and still liberal you don't have a brain.

and have proven Winston Churchill right when he said that if you are forty and still liberal you don't have a brain. Yeah, he'd be banned in Britain if he were alive today- quite a measure of the distance we've come from our once collective sanity. This is what happens when some are allowed to move the goal posts ever farther left.
What sucks is there are enough of them (commies and collectivists) to impose their idiocy via the heavyhand of government on us all. They'd rather all those besides themselves take-up serfing.

If you read her book or can find an unedited quote, you’ll know that Gov. Palin says that there’s no proof that man causes climate change. Climate change is what gives us the four seasons each year and is just the natural evolution of the earth.

If you read her book ... I'm not so worried about her message to people who might read her book. It's her pandering to the people who won't read it. Such pandering seems to be the beginning of the downfall of most Republicans.

She’s not pandering and I’m sure the news media didn’t supply the whole quote, which they are famous for doing, causing stupid conservatives to believe what they read in the papers.
