The writer did a great job of laying out the phenomenon but bails out at the end. Its simple - they hate her because they sense she's got wide appeal and ultimately threatens their plan to dominate society.

Part of the problem is that series of skits done on SNL. I have actually heard some people quote the dialog on the SNL skits as if they actually came from Sarah and not that silly what’s-her-name braindead liberal................

Christians carry the "scent" of death to those who are perishing, to those who are following the god of this world, to those who live in the universe of "The Lie".
