Over at ICECAP.us Meteorologist Joe D’Aleo has posted an item on a “Russian Bombshell” highly relevant to the ClimateGate scandal. The Russian media first posted the story and now some Brits are loving it.
The long and the short of it is best summarized by the Telegraph’s James Dellingpole: “What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock.”
That is, we have yet further evidence that the data is being cooked to make the long-running claim of an increase in global temperatures, and now to diminish the apparent cooling of said temps. As the gang at EU referendum tout, “it is in Soviet Union that the CRU, NOAA, NASA show the greatest warming.”
Around the world temperature stations have been widely decommissioned in rural and higher elevations, and we see an over-emphasis on increasingly urbanized (and therefore warmer) stations in the curious selection process as to what temperatures should count, and how much. The latter point references the fact that the data is then adjusted, and we are also seeing an increase in adjusting urbanized (that is, artificially warm) temperature records not down, but upward.

On Tuesday, the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) issued a report claiming that the Hadley Center for Climate Change based at the headquarters of the British Meteorological Office in Exeter (Devon, England) had probably tampered with Russian-climate data.
The IEA believes that Russian meteorological-station data did not substantiate the anthropogenic global-warming theory. …The data of stations located in areas not listed in the Hadley Climate Research Unit Temperature UK (HadCRUT) survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.

The Russians are the Dog the Didn’t Bark.
They are the ones who have the most to gain in the whole Global Warming scam, because they are sitting on a mountain of Carbon Credits that they can sell.
All of the targets have as a baseline the years right before the collapse of the Soviet Union. Since then, Russian industry has collapsed and what remains has grown much more efficient. Therefore, Russian CO2 emissions are less than half of the old Soviet baseline.
Which means Russia is in a position to sell Carbon permits under any international Cap and Trade regime, and make Billions and Billions of dollars.
And, what do you know, it is the Russian data that shows the strongest warming trend. What are the chances?!?

I have known for quite a while that many, many weather stations out in the boonies of the USSR were allowed to fall into disrepair or abandoned years ago. The result is that temperatures included in pre 1990 average included huge swaths of Siberia that are NOT included in post 1990 averages.
Far more than just Gore. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been involved in carbon trading scams with Michael Bloomberg. Illinois and New Mexico are listed as members on the Chicago Climate Exchange as is Lugar Farms. Obama was a Joyce Foundation board member when they gave Richard Sando money to start the CCX.
This is a far larger financial scam than anyone seems to realize and any elected official pushing cap and trade should be investigated.

OTOH, CRU did cook the data, which gives the Russians a perfect opportunity to bludgeon them.
I would speculate that Mayor Tony Villar of LA would be involved. He’s Ahnuld’s lap dog. LA has no money and Villar is implementing everything green he can think of. Today Ahnuld said that he will press on with green reforms no matter what the US or anyone else does.
I can’t wait to see this on TV news and read it in the paper—in two weeks.

California has their own climate exchange. While rooting around on the net today I found an announcement from 2006 that the Chicago Climate Exchange was aiding in its start up operations.
What idiots are doing trading on those exchanges?
They are not going to go quietly. We are going to have to shove the hangovers right up their asses.
They will go the way of the party that pays them the most, and gives them absolute power.
Gorefraud and associates won't pay them and won't give them the carbon credit trading scheme, so...
They will sink Gore and AGW with the truth and sell oil.

Lugar farms (as in Dick Lugar) is listed on the CCX. As I understand it Evan Bayh also has land being held as a carbon sequestration project. (He gets paid for letting trees grow) I suspect that a lot of our elected officials are involved.
I’m sure taxpayer money is going into it as well. As I said before both the state of Illinois and New Mexico are listed as well as the cities of City of Aspen, City of Berkeley, City of Boulder, City of Chicago, City of Fargo ,City of Melbourne, Australia, City of Oakland and the, City of Portland. Those are just the municipalities right out there with there names. God knows how many names are hidden behind corporations and foundation titles. And I’m only looking at the CCX, there are others in various states, reagions and nations.

I have an idea that the government will like. How about large government grants to the scientists at CRU, NOAA, and NASA GISS, so they can look into these allegations?
The Russians are going to destroy this myth. They have access to all the fake data and are going to show everything.

Climate Change is just a scam to redistribute the wealth of the United States to Third World countries. It doesn’t take much rocket science to figure this out.
